The Lady In White I

We ate our lunch and the lady's food was untouched. She stood up but Than looked at her and she quickly sat back down.

"You know what i said wasn't something terrifying."

"What did you say to her? It surely looks terrifying.", i asked.

"Oh, it's personal. What i told her was the truth.", Than said.

The lady glared at him and grabbed a butter knife. "You know, you can do whatever you want to me but you can't avoid the truth.", Than gave her a huge smile.

"Geez Than... You seemed more scarier than Emon if you keep smiling like that.", i tried to lightened up the mood but instead she glared at me.

I tried avoiding her glare and continued eating. "Everything in my realm is safe and of secrecy. Not even Emon is capable to break down the ward of my realm. The last time he tried to do so, it took him a million demons to pull it off."

The lady was about to say something but she quickly took back her words. "Do you mind telling us your name for starters?", i asked politely.

"You-- you can call me Sera."

I was shocked but Than didn't looked as shocked as i was. Instead he gave her a soft smile. "Sera couldn't possibly be your real name now is it? It's short for something."

"Yes it is but i prefer you call me as i told you."

"Fine. Sera it is. Might i say this Sera, you have a lovely smile."

I have no idea whether Than was flirting with her because this was normal for him. If i said that to her, she would burn my ass for just winking at her.

"You have not seen me smile before.", she said.

"Oh i know. Just a guess.", he gave her a soft smile and she quickly turned to me. I didn't know what to do so i stared at Than indicating that he should stop all this.

"Yes yes. Now, it's time for our first training. Follow me to the library and Sera, you're going to be there too right?"

"I was told to not lose sight of the both of you."

"Great! Because, i need you for the first training.", Than offered his arm to Sera but Sera ignored him and stare at elsewhere. Than then continued walking upstairs and we appeared right in front of a huge doorway and it was engraved with letters and words that i've never seen before.

"Beautiful.", that just came out from my mouth and Than smiled at me. He knew how much i adore it and then began explaining it to me.

"It's a sacred language. No one knows what it means except for me and my family."

I got closer and touched the engraved letters and suddenly a bright light shoned right at the letters. I blinked and the light was gone.

"It's destiny. You are touching on the word destiny.", Than turned to look at Sera but she ignored him.

"Everything we do has meanings and everything that happened is our destiny and faith. I believe you're here because you were fated to be here. You're much powerful than you think you are Christopher.", Than came up to me and pushed the door opened.

The library was 3 storeys tall and it was full of sections. Sera didn't looked surprised but instead she picked up the first book that caught her eyes. "The Forbidden Child."

"Ah, i'm more of a fantasy, fiction and romance type of guy. So, i like my books to be that as well.", Than tried to take the book away from Sera but she refused to let it go.

"Tell me, why are Nephilim such an abomination to this world?", she asked with a cold tone.

I gave her a weird look and asked, "There are nephilims in this world?"
