We Became One

SERAPHIM'S POV

As i carried Than to his room, i could feel his strong aura and i've never sense that aura before. It only appeared when he activated his powers infront of my father.

I lay him gently on his bed and asked him if he was alright. I placed my palm on his chest and closed my eyes. I could hear his beating heart... It was rapidly beating like a train. His aura feels so ancient as if he was part of a powerful breed.

"You're going to be alright.", i said and he placed his hand on top of mine.

"I apologise for pinning you down before.", he told me but it wasn't his fault, it was mine.

"I'm the one at fault. I apologise for my aggressiveness and i hope you could forgive me for everything that had happened."

"How could i not forgive you?", he said then i placed away my hand quickly.

"Tell me what are you, Than.", he sat up and smirk.

"My name is Thanatos. I'm a greek god of peaceful death.", he said and it was not a surprise because his aura was so powerful that it was equivalent to a god and goddesses.

"Then, it's a pleasure meeting you, Thanatos. I am Seraphim and i'm half angel and demon.", i held out my hand for a handshake and he took it but he placed a kiss on top of it.

"A rare breed indeed."

I pulled my hand away quickly but he grabbed it and held on to my wrist while staring at me.

"Why do you always do that...?", he asked.

I knew what i was doing but i just can't accept the fact that this was happening to me.

"The disgusted expression on your face everytime we come in contact while your pulse tells me otherwise.", i stared at him and was speechless.

I had been feeling this way ever since he healed me. Something about Than that caught my eyes and at first it was not more than an attraction but now, i have no idea what it is. I pulled away my hand once again and stood up ignoring what just happened.

"Rest up. I'll take care of them.", i quickly made my way to the door but he immediately reappeared in front of me and gave me a peck on the forehead while holding on to my chin. I was vulnerable at that moment and i didn't know how to handle the situation.

He caress my cheek and gazed into my eyes, "I didn't want to feel this way not at all but at some point i realised that attraction is never a choice. You drive me insane, Seraphim."

He wrapped his arm around my waist and placed a kiss on my lips. He tasted like sweet peppermint and a hint of chocolate. I pulled away and saw myself in the reflection on his eyes. He gave me a huge smile and continued to kiss me. We were into it and before i knew it, i pulled away and pinned him to the ground.

I stared at him gasping for air and caress his cheek. "You didn't ask for my permission..."

"I'm sorry. Do you still want to continue?", i knew he was teasing me and my heart was racing so fast. I grabbed his shirt and flicked his forehead.

"How lucky am i to have met you.", he laughed and it made me blushed.

He cupped my cheeks and placed another kiss on my lips. "Maybe some other time."
