THAN'S POV

Everything about how i treated Christopher was bad enough. When i think of Christopher and his training, all i could picture in my mind was Merlin and how much power he had... Maybe my judgement was rational and quick but i should not have treated Christopher based on my emotions.

"You're looking terrible.", Sera popped up right in front of me with a bottle of champagne.

"Did you come here to blackmail me or something.", i took the bottle away from her and placed it on my night stand.

"No. I'm not the blackmailing type. Thinking back, everyone has their own reason why they did what they did."

"You know for a demon who thinks love is a sin, you surely do care.", i said and she was quick to reply, "I don't. His majesty needs you to train the little necromancer and with those emotions you're feeling, it starting to piss me off."

I giggled and lifted her hand upon mine. "Thank you for reminding me who i really am."

I let go of her hand and stared out my room window. All i could see was trees without any leaves on it which reminded me so much of winter days on earth.

"You must not waste anymore time. His majesty wants the necromancer to be fully prepared for his ritual."

I turned around and snapped my fingers then a glass of champagne appeared on her very delicate hands.

"Emon can wait. Tell me more about you Sera. Surely you do have a life before you served Emon.", i asked but she wasn't interested to share anything with me.

"If his majesty doesn't trust you, why in hell would i share my personal life with you."

I placed the glass of champagne on my night stand and removed my black coat. "Emon doesn't trust anybody and certainly not you. I know everything about Emon and it pains me to admit it, he was even considering to kill you someday when you are of no use."

"His majesty would never kill me. I am of his service till the day he dismisses me.", i looked into her eyes and she was serious about it. She will do anything for Emon and i couldn't understand why.

"What did Emon do to you? You seemed so loyal yet something about your aura tells me otherwise.", i appeared right behind her and gently placed her hood down and she had the most gorgeous black curls.

"You're even more interesting than i thought. A mysterious gorgeous lady without an agenda?", i whispered at her ear.

She tried to swing her arm but i casted a spell before she could and now she was just trapped standing there. "Release me at once."

"No can do sweetheart.", i pulled up a chair in front of her and sat down while asking her questions.

"For starters how old are you?"

"Old enough to kill you.", she spat at me.

"Flirting will get you no where sweetheart", i tried to tease her but she kept quiet instead.

"Ok fine. You're roughly 200 years old?", i guessed but she gave no indication whether i was right or wrong.

"You give me no choice sweetheart. I'll continue with his training. You'll just wait here and maybe rot?"

"You'll pay for this.", she cursed.

"Pay in kisses? You're welcome to do so. Now, will you excuse me.", i opened the door and slammed it close.

I had to do what needed to be done. I knew what Sera is and i just wanted to believe if it's true. I wanted her to break the spell and kill me in that room but she was holding back. Deep down, i didn't want her to be trapped like that and maybe i feel a bit of guilt but she will be just fine.
