Fading

Aelia's ability was fading and she wasn't lying... She couldn't even put up wards around her mind anymore and started to age slowly. What i didn't get was, how was her ability fading?

"Your ability has weakened. How is that possible?", i asked.

She smiled and pointed at the bracelet that i was wearing. It was a gift from her and i still didn't get the interpretation of it.

"That bracelet that i gave to you, i casted a spell in it.", she said. Ty was as confused as ever watching us interract. I quickly took out the bracelet and placed it on the table.

"No... It couldn't be that spell."

Aelia was confused and Ty suddenly spat out, "What on earth are you blabbering about, Chris?"

"Antallagí".

Aelia's eyes widened and hurried to calm me down but i shoved her aside.

"You... What have you done?!", i asked her furiously.

"You went through my spell book... I did what is needed to be done Christopher."

"What have you done to me?!"

Aelia looked speechless by my expression because she knew i was frightened by her for the first time.

"I... You're slowly absorbing my ability. This spell cannot be undo and it is for the best."

Ty then got into my defense and went up to her, "You mean to tell me that you're passing over to Chris?! Wait, so that means Chris is going to become a binder...?", Ty faced me with a worried look on his face. I was for the first time speechless and couldn't believe what i just heard.

I took the bracelet and tried to break it but it was undestructable and it magically appeared back on my wrist. "It's useless. It was made by a special binder centuries ago and i tried to destroy it too but failed."

"Why give it to me?!", i yelled at her.

"You're special Christopher Gnaut. I wouldn't want my ability to go to waste.", Aelia said.

The more she kept explaining about it, the angrier i got and i'd decided to leave the premises and left Ty with Aelia alone. I ran and ran away from everyone and ran to my hearts desire. Everything around me is a lie.

I ended up in the middle of a forest and screamed to my heart's content. "Why... Why me! I didn't want this! Fabio! Take it away from me! TAKE IT!"

"Christopher, where are you.", i recognised the voice and it was Ty's. Aelia probably helped Ty to communucate with me.

I ignored tthe voice and didn't know where else to go. I was driven insane by the possibility of me becoming a binder. "Chris, talk to me..."

"Leave me alone Ty... Leave me be."

"I can't do that Chris. We're in this together..."

"No... no, we're not.", i put up wards around my mind and stayed there a good solid 4 hours thinking what will happen next. I was starving but i didn't want to face the reality anymore. Then, a figure stepped out of the shadows and it was a person wearing a white robe and a white mask.

"Christopher Gnaut... Isn't it dangerous for you to be here at this timing?", said the stranger.

"Piss off. You don't know anything about me.", i replied.

"Oh, i do... I came here to deliver a message to you from his majesty."

"I said piss off!", i threw a punch but the stranger dodged it and shoved me aside.
