Tabris's Point Of View

-

'It's been half a year since I've been on Earth, I haven't found my true vessel yet.' I thought to myself. 'But it could be the fact that there's a possibility that I couldn't have a vessel.'

I continued washing the counter of this store my temporary vessel worked at. This person didn't have an angel that would use their body.

I excused myself, "I gotta go, you know.. find my vessel." The man in front of me, raised an eyebrow and responded with a "You do you, boo." I don't understand what "boo" has to do with me going out. Isn't "boo" what humans say when they try to scare another human? The human language is strange..

I walk towards the door and tried pulling it.

And it didn't work.

I tried using my wings and putting my whole body weight into it...

But, nope! It didn't work still.

"Hey! It's push, not pull, don't break the damn thing." The employer yells. "I knew that!" I reply, pushing the door, leaving.

I zapped myself to a mall and walked to someplace that would be interesting. I saw boards advertising the wifi and the food and some other things like advertisments.

I chose to go to the right side of the mall because I feel something. Something powerful.. The souls here are't as powerful as this soul I'm being gravitated to...

It lead me to grungey shop, brick walls and block letters spelling "Hot Topic." "Hello! Welcome to Hot Topic!" A girl with piercings and tattoos said.

"Thanks?" I say, walking past some people. I put my hands in my pockets and felt the soul which was radiating.

"Heya, Sammy." The girl with the fiery soul said to a short haired girl. 'She's my vessel?' The girl had dyed turquoise and white hair with hazel eyes, a pixie cut. "You decided to visit me during work?" The turquoise haired girl said. The brown haired girl smiles, said, "I have a coupon to use here too y'know?" She waved around the dark colored coupon.

"Whatcha doing? You're listening in to our convo, do you have anything to buy or?" She called me. I looked at her nametag, "Kyleigh." "Kyleigh, I am an Angel of the Lord and you are my vessel." I bluntly state.

"If you are, prove it." Kyleigh says, questioningly.

"You believe me?" I say, astonished.

"Well, I have seen some weird stuff." The girl states, leaning on the counter and brushing her hair to the side.

"Your soul's extremely bright, although you might not believe it."

"You're right, I don't." She rolls her eyes.

"I can reserve a room for you in Heaven."

"There's rooms in Heaven?"

"There's lots of things you don't know."

"I'm going home right now! Someone take over the counter!" Kyleigh called. "Sam, do ya wanna join this mystical adventure I'm goin' on with... Actually, what the literal hell is your name?"

"Tabris," I said with a big smile. "Yeah, Tabris, so ya joining or not?" "Sure, why not, I don't have anything to do. I also don't want to do my homework."

Kyleigh's Point Of View

"HOLY FRIGGING-" I screamed and held onto my girlfriend. "I'm sorry, I didn't think you had anywhere else to go so we are here in a park."

I sigh, and said, "Holy mother of God, I now need to walk a few frigging miles for my frigging car. Great." "Are we not going to question that we were teleported?" "Of course we're not." I grinned at my girlfriend.

"I need to have your permission for you to be my vessel." Tabris explains. "But first, promise that I'll be alive then yeah, sure, go for it." I say, and wait for what the heck she's gonna do.

Tabris stood right infront of me, her eyes' burning a bright blue. She put her hand on my head, transferring her consciousness into my body.

It felt like I'm in my own body, but with someone else in it.

That sounds dirty.

"Woah, I'm still in my own body, yay!" I cheered. Sam looked at me confused, and sighs "What the hell Kyleigh... "

"Oooooooo! Hi! Hi!!" Tabris started speaking, "This feels sooooooo comfy!" She began hugging my- our body. "Okay, please stop it's making me really uncomfortable." Sam points out. "Same, but I can't stop this angelic dipshite."

"Okay, that was just rude." Tabris retorts, putting our hand on our hip. "Tabbie, stop being a fricking tsundere," I said, annoyed. Tabris started playing around with the clothes I was wearing. 'Incredibly frigging awkward..'

She stopped goofing around and said "Real business though, it's going to be an all out war. There's no definite answer that we'll all make it out in one piece, so I suggest you should stay behind unless you've got some Angel or Demon blood in you."

"We are going to fight Satan guys, literal Satan." My eyes widened, "Shit." 'This is the cost of sharing your body with an angel you dumbass. You have fight friggin' Satan and do something so your girl is safe. Great job, ya nitwit! I'm so sorry Sam.'

I apologized to Sam, "I'm sorry for bringing you into this. All 'the Angel of the Lord' crap, this.. hunter life, you can go back and live a happy life. Without me, because hanging with an Angel and its vessel is bound to end badly. You'd be able to live."

"You're going with her to fight, and what? I'm at the side lines?  Worrying for you?" She says, teary eyed. "I thought you wanted us to have a happy ending together?"

"I'm sorry, Sammy." I say to her, kissing her cheek, "It's for the best.  I'll keep contact, I'm swapping phones often.  Promise, my angel?"

"I promise Kyles."

Tabris took me back to my car, leaving Sam at her house. I began crying on my car. I leaned on my wheel, I punched my truck's dash in anger.

"I.. Can't believe I did that. For a frigging Angel.." I mutter, starting the engine. I hit the gas and drove to my house.

"This is your house?" Tabris's higher voice said. "Yeah," I say, parking my car. I jumped the fence, leading to my dad's garden and walked towards the window of my room. I climbed the redwood fence and jumped to my window's ledge.

I opened the window and grabbed stuff that I needed. I grabbed my water, my messenger bag, which had my devices and chargers. "Hey!" Tabris exclaims, I hushed her, knowing it's late at night. "W-what are you doing?"

"I don't my family to get hurt, so I'm going off on my own." I said, grabbing my polaroid album and camera.

I grabbed some clothes and went to my window. I was sitting on the edge, and turn to my door.

"So long, and goodnight."
