Chapter 5

The night was never going to end. My wolf was restless and both of us were paranoid at all the alphas presenting their daughters to us. Most of them being immature youngsters barely done with puberty. My parents had abandoned me and were nowhere to be found. Also who knows where my sisters were.

      Gail was probably dragging her mate Leo and talking up a storm with anyone willing to listen. Gail my younger sister was a chatty cathy while her mate was her exact opposite. Leo was quiet and only spoke when necessary, I honestly would have forgotten he was there if it weren't from the alpha aura radiating from him.

        Zina was boy crazy. There is no question to it, my youngest sister is after anyone with different body parts than her. She is 18 and ready to find her mate. Bless that poor mans soul because he is going to have his hands full with her. As we speak she is approaching men of alpha blood trying to find a connection. And being the blunt person she is it makes for some decent entertainment.

       I am forced back to reality when one of my many admirers get a little too friendly. She looks to be about 16 and has a determined look in her eyes. I must say she isn't bad looking, but then again no one in the werewolf community is really bad looking. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and a look on her face that has me weary. This girl looks as though I am about to be her next meal. Oh MoonGoddess help me.

     15 minutes later
        Griffin

         Finally I was able to escape my hoard of wanna be Luna's. As eager as I was to find my Luna I just don't think tonight is the night. I am standing on the balcony outside, when I am hit with the smell of sunshine. Yes it sounds crazy but the smell that hits me makes me feel warm, and satisfied for some reason. I follow the smell back into the ballroom. Instantly I am swarmed by girls again but nothing can keep me from this smell. As the scent gets stronger my wolf gets more and more antsy, clawing to be set free. And nothing surprises me more than when the sent leads me to.... MY MOTHER?!?!?

        What in the MoonGoddess is going on?!?!?

         After the ball my mother and I were making plans to travel to the Silver fang pack to visit Luna Lorena. And of course with any big trips my mother has to go shopping. Now don't get me wrong I love shopping, especially shoe shopping. I mean Cinderella proved that shoes are important! But getting back on topic, shopping with my mother is quite the affair.

          Not only does my father give her unlimited funds, but also a couple men to come along to carry bags, and the stores that we go to clear everyone else out just for my mother! Now not all the stores that we go to know about werewolves, but they do know that my mother is a wealthy client who loves to spend.

          The first store we enter is called Porters, and we spend a around 3 hours in there. They specialize in suitcases, because mother insists that the old luggage just won't do.

    Then we head to Shantel. This store is my favorite store. Cinderella would love it here. Yes you guessed it, it's the shoe store. After trying on countless shoes my mother and I both end up buying a pair of hiking boots, a couple pairs of pumps, and some strappy sandals. I got an amazing pair of the new gladiator sandals, they make me feel so powerful! Maybe powerful enough to ride a griffin.

       The rest of the day was just a blur. All I know is that we could barely fit into the car, that's how loaded it was with shopping bags. Once we returned home my father just sighed, and sent a bunch of his men to carry the bags in. He knows by now not to ask how much my mother spent.

           It has been decided that father will come with us, and this gives my brother a chance to practice his alpha skills. Fathers beta Cam will be staying to keep an eye on him, and to keep father informed on how he is doing.

        After packing up all our new things, in the new luggage that we didn't need. We are ready to head to the airport for our flight. We could have driven but father being 6'6 didn't really enjoy the idea of being cramped in a car for 2 days, so we are going to crammed into a flying box for 4 hours instead. Let the fun begin.
