Chapter 10

      {Griffin}

          I felt like a gaping fish as I stood staring at my mate in utter horror.

         My best friend Kaiser, in love with my mate? They just met today for goodness sakes!

      I don't know how long I stood there staring at her. I mean I know I said that I thought Kaiser liked her, but loved her? What the heck?

        "How do you know this?" I couldn't help but question her.

       "Well according to every single wattpad book that I have read the signs are all there, he stared at me broodingly, he clenched his hands at his side and stared at you with anger, and I thought I saw a hint of jealousy in his eyes. And according to every book I've read, that means that he is jealous and wants me to be his."

         After she finished that little speech I couldn't help but stare at her in disbelief. Did she honestly think that my gay beta was madly in love with her? Yes you heard me right, my gay beta. Ever wonder why his hair was so amazing, yup you guessed it.

          I couldn't help but chuckle as I replied, "well darling I don't know what books you have read, but I seriously doubt that my gay beta is in love with you."

       As soon as I said gay, Athena gets a look of pure shock on her lovely little face. I can't help but smirk as I see her look of worry and confidence, mold into a look of utter horror and confusion.

        "He's gay???? Not that I have anything wrong with gay people, but my intuition was wrong!!!!! How could this happen, I read all the signs, and he looked so manly and ugh!!!!!"

          She continued ranting about how stupid Athena just couldn't stay away, and how manly my beta was, which I didn't particularly enjoy hearing.

         After about 5 minutes of this nonsense I interrupted her by picking her up and flinging us both on the bed.

    {Athena}

         One moment was I ranting and the next moment I was suddenly on my bed under a very heavy body.

        I couldn't help but glare at my mate as I groaned, "why are you so heavy and why are you on top of me."

      He had a wicked smile on his face as he boasted, "I can't help if some parts of me are large, and I like you under me, I hope we can be like this often in the future."

         Suddenly stupid Athena became red Athena. I swear my face became redder than period red, as I realized that I could feel everything, and a certain part of him was very large, very large indeed.

        I tried to wiggle out from under him and in the process certain parts of me rubbed against certain parts of him, if you know what I mean. I finally had to stop wiggling as I realized that his little friend was growing slowly. And from the dark color his eyes had become, that wasn't the only part of him that wanted me.

        Oh Great jumping Jehoshaphat, help me in my time of need.....and want.

        Yes want. I can't help but feel want for this green eyes god that the MoonGoddess has given me. And since it seems like he wants me as well it wouldn't be fair if I didn't make him work for it a little bit. Tease him a little if you know what I mean.

        Adult Athena is here, and I hope you are ready for her my dear mate.

           Well now my plans are just going to have to be delayed. That little bitch won't get away with being with the man that I love.

           I am normally not someone who enjoys violence, but in this case I will do anything to get my man, anything.

          Griffin you are going to regret not ever noticing me, and your poor little mate is going to have to pay the price.

    {Authors note}

        Hey guys i know the chapter is shorter, but I hope updating earlier makes up or that! I will try to do longer ones coming up, but the end of the summer/early fall are always such busy times!!! Who do you think this mystery person is? And do you think Griffin is ready for everything that Athena has in store for him?  Also I was so happy with the response to the characters I chose got! Do you guys like Camilla? She was the only character I wasn't sure of when I picked her picture. I will try to update again next weekend maybe earlier if I get the chance :) thank you guys for sticking with my book and I will see y'all again next time.
