Chapter 4

Being an adult was awful!!!!! Why was I so excited for this moment my whole life?!?!? Not only was I forced to make small pointless talk with people I had never met, I had to also look like I enjoyed it!!!! I haven't even been able to find Quilla yet because some alpha is telling me about what some quack doctor told him!!! After what seemed like an eternity and after receiving way too much information about aging male werewolves I was able to excuse myself from that delightful conversation. Now to find Quilla without being trapped into another pointless talk

After 10 minutes of searching I am able to spot my bomb shell friend, and of course guess where I find her.

You guessed it. She is being guarded by her brooding mate, who looks as though he would rather be anywhere except here. Well too bad Mr. Jerkface it sucks for you. I can't help but want to stick my tongue out at him but realize that I now have to act like a proper adult.
As I approach, Quilla catches sight of me and after doing some mighty fancy footwork manages to sidestep her guard dog and launches herself at me with a squeal. Immediately we are both tumbling onto the floor, fancy dresses and all. By this time the whole ballroom is staring at us in utter astonishment. Quilla and I stare at eachother for a moment and then burst out laughing. I imagine the whole ballroom would have continued to stare at us if it weren't for the warning growl from Mr. Guard dog. Yeah no one wants to mess with the alpha from the blood moon pack. Take that suckers!

        Adonis, Quilla's guard dog just glares at me, before helping his mate back up. I noticed that part of Quilla's dress had ridden up during our little fall, and apparently some young male weres also noticed. About 20 feet away from us stood a group of young juvenile teenage boys, and they were staring longingly at Quilla, almost as though she were a tasty piece of steak.

    Adonis noticed also and let out a growl of displeasure that had the boys showing their necks in submission. Quilla of course just rolled her eyes, grabbed my arm and started to drag me off towards the buffet, completely forgetting about Adonis. I couldn't help the smirk that appeared, because Adonis looked like a sulky little boy whose favorite toy was being taken away. Hehehehe 1 point to me!

          After Quilla and I had stuffed our faces with more food than you could ever imagine fitting into our bodies, and yes Adonis followed us and growled at every guy the whole time.

     My mother came to get me, apparently I had to meet an old friend of hers. Sadly I had to leave Quilla, wasn't too sad about leaving Adonis, and followed my mother. She led me towards a beautiful middle aged woman, dressed in an emerald colored dress, that was tailored to perfection. She had her blonde hair done in an elegant bun, and her whole persona screamed elegance. I find out that her name is Lorena, and her husband is Alpha Prescott of the Silver Fang pack.

     Lorena is a kind and gentle woman who I find that I quite enjoy talking to. No creepy doctor stories here! I find out that Lorena has 3 children, two girls and a boy. Alpha Prescott soon joins his mate, and even though I am of alpha blood I find myself in aww of his power, and strength.

     I smelled a peculiar sent on Alpha Prescott that had my wolf purring. I push her to the side, thinking that I must had eaten too much food at the buffet. Suddenly the alpha and Luna are called to join another couple a couple feet away. They leave but not until Luna Lorena makes my mother promise that her and I will visit soon. We make plans to visit their pack in a couple of weeks, Lorena is positive that I will get along with her children, and I thought I heard her mumbling something about me loving Griffin. I guess the Luna is a Harry Potter fan, but I do love Griffins.

Hey guys! I was able to get the chapter up! And yes I was able to get a new charger! I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!!!! I will try to update again sometime towards the beginning of next week. I am curious what do you think of the characters? And isn't Quilla and Adonis hilarious, I am thinking of doing another story with them once this one is over. I love to hear what you guys think!
