Chapter 11

   {Griffin}

         I have never been this frustrated with a she wolf in my life. Not even when I was with Kaiser's sister Lina did I experience this frustration.

        All last night Athena kept rolling over in her sleep and snuggling impossibly close to me. Also don't get me started on the moans that came out of her perfect little mouth, almost all night.

          My wolf kept projecting images of the things that we could do to make her moan even more. Sandman didn't come easily last night to say the least......

           I feel slightly better this morning though after my ice cold shower. I feel ready to face the day.

           As I step into my bedroom there on the bed lies my mate......in a silk and lace nighty.......asleep with wild hair. I slowly back up and walk right back into the bathroom and turn the shower back on. Today is going to be a long day.

        About an hour later I head down to breakfast with Athena, who was thankfully dressed by the time that I finished my showering. We were greeted by our mothers who were beaming at us. Kaiser just nodded at us and continued eating, I noticed Athena looking at him suspiciously before grabbing a bowl of captain crunch cereal.

          I sat down next to her and was just taking a drink of coffee when I suddenly feel a hand on my thigh. I almost spit the coffee out then and there, and couldn't help but stare at my mate who was eating her cereal rather innocently. I tried to keep a neutral face as her fingers drew circles on my thigh.

          Kaiser was telling me how his sister Lina was coming for a visit soon, but I didn't really pay attention to the details, I was trying to keep my friend from making his presence known.

{Athena}

My wolf was smirking at the torture that we were giving our mate. Last night I made sure I moaned as much as I could. I also cuddled as close to him as possible, all while under the guise of being asleep. And the sexy pose this morning, after Griffins first shower was just an added bonus. My wolf informed me that Griffin's wolf was getting quite antsy and wanted to do things to us that would make a sailor blush. Which of course only excited my wolf further.

My mother and future mother-in-law were discussing grandpups and how they were going to divide the holidays between eachother. Apparently we are going to switch off, so one year we will do thanksgiving with one family while doing Christmas with the other. And then the opposite the next.

Our fathers were just smiling at there wives and enjoying their breakfast. I was surprised at how well my father was taking me finding my mate. He was one of those dads who always teased that I wouldn't be able to leave his house until 30. Thank the MoonGoddess for mates though, if I hadn't found Griffin and had been a puny human I may have ended up a spinster. Or worse! The crazy cat lady!!!!!!

I decided to quit teasing Griffin before he lost control, after all his eyes were getting mighty black. Almost as black as his coffee.

Kaiser still has me leery, but after finding out that his sister Lina is coming, I feel a little better. I hope that we will become friends, after all it is only right for the future Luna to become friends with the betas family, even if he is a suspicious beta....with amazing hair.

       After breakfast I decided to FaceTime Quilla, I realized my mistake very quickly........

        "You found your mate and you didn't tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And there it is, my very very vocal friend was sharing her opinion by screeching. Ahhh I just love hearing it, it brings such joy to my eardrums.

       "Quilla take a deep breath, I just found the man yesterday!!!!!" I then go on to tell the horror story of finding a naked green eyed god in my bathroom, to the creepy beta with amazing hair who I thought was in love with me, and how they don't feed me enough here.

       By the time I'm done, I'm gasping for breath and Quilla is staring at me through the screen with big eyes.

        "They don't feed you!!!!!!!! If that is what it is like in that pack I am sorry but I refuse to visit. I am like a hobbit and require at least a second breakfast!!!"

       Of course food is the only thing that my friend hears in that whole conversation. I remember the time when she completely ignored Adonis and started singing, very off pitch, if I might add, "I will always love you" by Whitney Houston to her hamburger. Adonis was not amused, and the hamburger was attacked, and soon a whole food fight ensued. Yeah Quilla was not happy about her hamburger being destroyed....... an angry Quilla is a scary Quilla especially when she is hangry.

       But on a happier note, Quilla and I were able to talk for a couple hours, yes hours, it had been a whole 3 weeks since I had last talked with her and a lot had happened!!!!!!

       We discussed clothes, mates and how Quilla had dyed their betas hair pink. Yes she dyed it hot pink......Preston the beta was not amused.

      We also discussed how Quilla wanted to have kids and was ready to become the most epic mom. And then she went on to explain the joyous details of all the positions Adonis had tried to get her pregnant. I mean we may be best friends but that was a little much.......

        We would have talked longer except Adonis called Quilla and apparently he had found a child and didn't know what to do with it.

      It is probably a good thing I let Quilla go, if the panicking sound of Adonis shouting,

       "What am I supposed to do with a person this small!!!!!!! Oooh no Quilla!!!!!!! I think it is doing something in its pants!!!! Quilla do you really want to have children??!?!?"

       Quilla and I were both cracking up as we hung up, I mean who wouldn't laugh at possessive, stern, and serious Adonis being broken by a mere child.

        After my laughter died down I couldn't help but sigh, I missed having a best friend around. I couldn't wait to meet Lina, I hoped she and I could become friends.

     Hey guys another chapter is up!!!!!! And it's early to! I tried to do a little longer chapter this time. I hope you guys enjoyed it. We reached 8k reads which is amazing!!!!! I start classes tomorrow and will hopefully still be able to keep up with the updates of this book. I hate when authors quit updating so I will do my best to continue to update. I am planning on updating again next weekend, but will update sooner if I have the time.
