Chapter 11

KATNISS POV:

There is Finnick. On the floor. In a puddle of blood. His blood. Its gushing out of him and no one is doing anything. They just stand there and stare

"DON'T JUST STARE DO SOMETHING!" I kneel and Finnicks side and grab his hand "Please Finnick Stay with us" I cry someone grabs me from behind. Peeta "Peeta he is gonna die isnt he?" I sob into his shirt

"Shhh Its alright"

"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT WHEN YOUR BEST FRIEND COULD DIE" He looks at me with sympathy "Wheres Annie?" I ask.

"I locked her in the bathroom so she wouldnt know"

"That's cruel!" I scream. People begin to move and I see the medics coming through.

"Excuse me we need you too move away from the patient" A medic orders

"NO!" I scream and go back to Finnick's side. Peeta lifts me up, whilst I kick and scream for him to put me down, and carries me off. I just cry and cry and cry. This can't be happening. I don't even know that he is going to die but with the amount of blood he is losing I don't see him surviving.

PEETA'S POV:

I sit on the bed in mine and Finnicks dorm. Katniss fell asleep so I place her on my bed and watch her sleep. So peaceful. No scowl. She's beautiful, well she is always beautiful but sleeping improves her looks. I let a few tears slip. Finnick is my best friend. He has always been there for me. Now he could dissapear. I put my head in my hands and just let the tears go. Crying isnt a sign of weakness it is a sign someone has been strong for too long. I appear so strong to others but I do have emotions. I look back to Katniss and think of only one emotion when I look at her. Love. 

"Peeta" I hear Katniss murmur. I look over to her and see her eyes are scrunched up. Oh no... "PEETA!" She screams begining to flail about "PEETA PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME IM SORRY PLEASE" A few tears slip down her face

"Katniss wake up" I gently shake her shoulders but its no use

"PEETA YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME! I DO I DO LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU PEETA MELLARK! I love you..." I sit there shocked. She actually does love me! Does she know she said that though? Her eyes fly open and she gasps. Her arms wrap around me. 

 "Please never leave me"

"Never"

We sit in the waiting room with Annie. We told her what happened and she started freaking out. She hasnt calmed done much because she is pacing up and down ALOT! We must sit here for hours before a doctor comes out with a clipboard in his hand

"Odair?" He asks and we all stand up. His family havn't made it here yet. 

"His family arent here yet but thats his Girlfriend" I gesture to Annie who is still pacing not even glancing a bit at the doctor "And we are his best friends" I gesture towards Katniss and I 

"Okay then... Well we have the results" THats when Annie runs up to him

"Please say he is okay"

"Well umm what news do you want first?"

"What do you mean?" I ask

"I mean do you want to hear the good news or the bad news first?"
