The year was 2019.
Better Living Industries had taken over California and most of the western United States. Better Living Industries developed pills for the civilians to take, essentially turning them into mindless animals. But there were some who raged against BL/ind and its elusive leader, Korse, and his army of draculoids. This colorful band were known as the Killjoys, and at the top sat the Fabulous Four.
Everyone knew about the Fabulous Four. They were the most well- known Killjoys, and most of the stories told about them were true. They were known for their numerous successes in raiding supplies and ghosting small groups of draculoids.
What many people didnt know was that they were not the only group that carried the name. The other Fab Four were not well known, for they rarely told anyone who they were, even using their Killjoy names. Those who did know about them held them in the highest honor and respect. Because, for them, this Fabulous Four was the perfect model of what Killjoys should be. You wouldnt be able to tell their abilities by seeing them, and they wore discrete clothing.
Possibly the most surprising thing about the Four was that they were all girls.
