Chapter Sixteen

Adrianna's Pov
I was laying In the middle of the bed wide bed wide awake since my anxiety kept me awake a lot. I sighed defeated sitting up and throwing the large blanket off me exposing my scars on my legs and arms since they are a faded memory of terrible things.

I was wearing a large shirt with a pair of basketball shorts under that was hidden from the shirt so it looked like I had nothing underneath.

J was out doing a heist with Harley and as much as I would hate for the two but I can't control J's actions or his words.

I grew curious when I heard a lot of noise downstairs and it peeked my curiosity since I heard some yelling getting out of bed leaving me bare feet.

I rushed out the room and down the hall looking in the foyer where I saw Harley and Chase yelling loudly. "You fucking idiot how could you let the bullet hit so close to Mista J!" She screamed Chase was looking at her.

"Harley you were supposed to make sure that there weren't any more guards!" Chase yelled defending.

"Don't blow this on me!" She yelled her accent coming out way more.

I grew worried I heard the words J and shot "Chase what's going on?" I asked coming down the stairs and Harley groaned chewing her gum harder stepping on her heels more shifting.

"Uh go away this doesn't concern you go back to bed." She grunted and I shook my head "if it involves J no," I muttered and she growled hard looking at me.

"Girly you are pushing on my last button!" She yelled "enough Adrianna?" Chase asked me quickly and I looked at him.

"Do you know how to remove a bullet from the chest cavity?" He asked me and I nodded with wide eyes "yeah I've been learning about injuries because I was making sure nobody dies why what's going on?" I asked trying not to freak out.

"J has a bullet in his chest cavity and none of us know how to removes it he's gonna die since its close to his heart," Chase told me and Harley's eyes went wide.

"Die you didn't say anything about dying you dope." Harley snapped and her and Chase started arguing hard quickly rushing to the living room where the fireplace was lit.

I saw Frost was frantic to get the bleeding stop and on the couch was J who was falling in and out of conscious and bare chest on the couch.

Frost looked up to me "Adrianna." he strained out all around him bloody towels "help?" he asked me and I threw all worry and frantic feeling and had to stay calm.

I kneeled down beside Frost taking control for this one time to help J because I love him because we are together.

I pressed both my hands on the towel that was already coated in his blood coated mine "Frost I need twisters?" I asked him when he nodded and grabbed them from the first aid kit.

J fluttered his eyes a few times at me showing me his blue eyes that held slight pain but he used to it like he wasn't afraid to die which I believe.

"Kitten." He whispered confused I took a deep breath in hearing his ragged breathing "yeah its kitten J," I whispered.

"Listen to my voice okay hun." I instructed licking my lower lip and taking a deep breath. "You can't fall asleep no matter how hard you want to no matter how hard
it gets okay." I said firmly.

"I got you and I'm gonna help you," I told him he slowly put one of his hands on top of my blood soaked one and he held it tight.

"I trust you," He whispered and I gazed into his eyes and for the first time, I saw lots of love in his eyes.

I nodded keeping calm and I removed the towels seeing the blood getting on the large white shirt I wore not the best time to wear white.

I saw a pretty big sized bullet wound that was lunged close to his chest and heart he should be dead from that but I can save him since I can see the bullet.

"Deep breaths J deep breaths for me?" I asked him I grabbed the twisters getting a clear view of the bullet.

I inserted the twisters in the bullet wound and I cringed as more blood gushed out but I had to pull the bullet wound out with a hard tug I got it out and I laid it down quick.

I grabbed more towels to stop the bleeding shutting my eyes. I started whispering to myself hard and fast because it was so much blood.

I even did a small pray that's how badly I wanted him to stay alive even after all the terrible things he did it was slowly ten minutes passed and I lifted my head seeing the bleeding had stopped.

I released a shaky chuckle "stitches, Frost? I asked.bJ was even still awake but he was trying to fall into unconscious he can sleep after I'm done stitching him up.

He will have another scar to add his pale chest full of tattoos and marks.

Frost was looking at me wide-eyed "that was impressive Adrianna." He told me he handed me the kit which I took the heavy feeling gone in my chest.

"I love him," I told Frost deeply and I looked back at J who finally had passed out and I was panicked till I noticed him breathing and then I started stitching him up.
