Chapter Eighteen

Joker's pov
"You know you shouldn't be moving around, if you pop your stitches I will not only handcuff you to the bed but I will leave you like that." I blinked away my amused gaze leaning on my fist.

I slowly kept watching Adrianna go on a deep little tangent as she ranted about how important it was for me to be resting.

I feel fine, and my body doesn't hurt as bad like it use to, and have even shown Adrianna that I'm fine but of course like the little kitten she is, is still really worried.

But I knew more then anything in this fucked up world I loved her, and nobody could take my kitten away from me.

"Hey." I quickly called out and Adrianna got quiet as she got embarrassed hiding her face bit.

"Sorry you know I get worried." She stammered out and I released a small laugh out pulling my hair back a bit.

"Yes I can tell cupcake, but I'm fine, I think you forget who I am." I laughed out hard as she rolled her eyes playfully leaning on her fist.

"As I recall you are still human." She remarked back and I gave her a playful stare back as I leaned back in my chair.

"As I recall no human has lived with falling through acid." I remarked back and I watched as she chewed on her lips.

"Harley did." She pointed out and I released another laugh out.

"Alright that's true, maybe we aren't normal but still it doesn't even hurt." I exclaimed lifting my shirt up to show her which just resulted in her letting a small squeal out making me crack up at that.

it's sometimes weird little moments like this I enjoyed with her, it's sometimes the only times I don't feel crazy.... is with her.

"So my beautiful little cupcake tonight we are gonna go something." I announced and Adriana looked at me confused but curious as she kept her gaze on me.

"Something ? Like what?" She asked curious like and clamped my hands together and winked at her lightly as I chewed my lower lip a bit still focused on her.

"I think you can handle it, since I've seen your crazy side."

"One time." She quickly called and I rolled my eyes.

"We are gonna go on our first date!" I yelled and she gasped loudly in shocked

"Hell no!"

"Hell yes."

Adrianna's Pov
"Why didn't you wear a dress, I wouldn't loved to see you in one" J whined out as soon as he quickly slipped into the black Lamborghini quickly as soon as we both exited out the bank fast the alarm blaring.

"I wouldn't be able to run in a dress and if I get hurt being in a dress would make it worse." I exclaimed loudly as I felt the sudden rush of fear and adrenaline course through me gripping onto the seat.

"True." He called and quickly pressed on the gas flying down the street at a fast speed.

I squealed hiding my face in my hoodie slightly laughing. I had no idea why I was laughing but this was sending so much adrenaline and I had no idea where it had came from.

"Well damn that was quick" J laughed as he made a sharp turn not stopping at the red light and I gripped onto the seat even more hiding in my hoodie more.

"You sure Batman won't show up." I grumbled as J cackled loudly and swerved the car pushing up on the gas pedal even more if possible making me squeal loudly.

"Trust me doll, he would have showed up already." J laughed and I looked up as soon as I heard a loud thud on the rooftop looking over at J who rolled his eyes in amazement.

"Speak of the devil." He joked as he reached over leaning across me and slide a handgun in my hand.

"What the hell am I suppose to do with this!" I yelled.

"Shoot! The worst case is you miss and shoot your self." J joked and I rolled my eyes at this little comment and smacked him on the chest as he kept laughing.

"Here goes nothing." I muttered slowly raising the handgun up. I aimed shutting one of my eyes and pressed on the trigger letting a small yelp out at the loud bang that sounded out, the ringing echoing around my ears.

"Oh my god J!" I screamed as he swerved the car again still laughing as he speed away even faster.

"Look he is gone stop freaking out." J exclaimed as he noticed me freaking out loudly still holding onto the seat.

"I think I'm gonna puke." I whined and J scrunched his face up as he slowed the car down just a tiny bit still laughing to himself.

"Poke your head out the window." He told me and I whined a little.

"J that's gross." I whined but quickly shut up as I felt the contents of my stomach slipping up and quickly leaned my head out the window throwing up.

J gagged slightly before completely stopping the car for me and moved himself across the seat and started rubbing my back patting it.

I scrunched my face up a little once I finished and wiped my mouth with my sleeves grossed out by myself J locked his gaze on me worried.

"You alright?" He asked me and I slowly nodded my chest rising and falling as I leaned back on the seat.

"No more high speed chases." I muttered weakly J gave me one last look and laughed pressing a kiss on top of me head as he slightly cuddled me chuckling out of breath.

"Kitten for you anything, just try not to puke your guts out every time." He joked resting his head on top of mine.

I chuckled weakly shutting my eyes amused as I played with his hands a bit.

"No promises."
