XX. CHAPTER 1 VS CHAPTER 25

"Wait" Jinn said then pulled me and napaharap ako again kay Denise. "Can you apologize to her?" she's talking to Denise. "I really want to kick you out of here right now but I now that's not a nice thing to do" he looked at me

"Anong pinagsasabi mo" I chuckled.

"I just want her to apologize. I'm being nice okay?"

Tumayo si Denise "well, I'm not even sorry. Bakit mo siya kinakampihan? Ako mapapangasawa mo"

Nakatingin na sa amin yung ibang customers ni Krista. Mostly, mga schoolmates natin. So, hindi na ako magtataka kung the next day, kalat na rin sa campus na may fiancé na si Jinn.

"Please think about it Pao. Future ni Jinn yung sinasave ko dito. If you're really his friend, gagawin mo yon. Let's talk again later sa magiging decision mo" kinuha niya yung bag niya. "and, Jinn, you don't have to take me home, andyan naman yung driver namin. I'll call you later" tapos lumabas na siya ng cafe.

Tinanggal ko yung kamay ni Jinn sa braso ko and umupo ako beside him.

"Ano naman at gumawa ka pa ng eksena?" I asked him "wag kana magtaka kung bukas kalat na sa campus yung kasal mo okay?"

"So ano naman kung malaman nila?"

"Alam mo kung gaano kadirty maglaro ang mga student sa campus natin"

"Don't worry. Hindi naman nila ako kaya" he winked

"Baliw ka!" then tumayo na ako.

"I will wait for you. Iinumin ko rin tong frappe, okay?"

"Bahala ka Jinn" then dumeretso na ako sa counter.

"Are you okay? I like your comeback to her by the way" she chuckled.

"She deserve that. She suddenly asked me to stay away from Jinn tapos magrereply ako in a nice way?"

"So, you're also threatening her na Jinn is yours?"

"Wala akong sinabi na ganyan"

"Okay, sabi mo"

Nasa chapter 1 pa lang ako, nasa chapter 25 na agad si Krista and all her theories.

We are closing the cafe ng nagring yung handphone ni Jinn. He said it's his dad and his reaction is not good.

"Fudgee" he said and he looked at me

"If you need to go, it's okay. Don't wait for me. Baka lalong magalit pa si tito"

"He wants to talk to you"

"Oh, oh-kay"

Pinauwi na agad kami ni Krista upon learning that Jinn's dad wanted to talk to me.

"Don't worry, I'll back you up" he said

"Huh? Bakit? Wala naman akong nagawa o nasabi na mali diba?" I smiled "I still believe tama mga sinabi ko"

He smiled "oo nga naman"

Then nasa labas pa lang kami ng bahay nina Jinn, nakita na naming nakaupo sa terrace si tito.

Nasa loob kami ng bahay and tito served us hot tea.

"Thank you Pao, dahil pinagbigyan mo ang hiling ko. I know you're busy"

"Ah, okay lang po tito. Uwian na rin naman"

"I've heard what happened kanina sa cafe and I'm sorry kung denise caused a fuss but hindi naman niya sinasadya yon. She's just overprotective of her soon to be husband" he looked at Jinn.

"Dad, so you're still going to push this?"

"Shut up Jinn, I'm not talking to you"

Then tinapik ko si Jinn kasi baka biglang magkaboxing ng father and son dito.

"I'm sorry kung pinapalayo ka ni Denise, medyo selosa kasi yung tao e" he smiled "but Pao, I'll be very happy kung, lalayuan mo si Jinn. I mean, kahit konti lang? Especially, if Denise is around" he looked at me "you understand why I'm doing this right?"

"Yes tito" I smiled

"But don't feel uncomfortable around me or Denise, you can always talk to us and maybe, we can have dinner together, with Denise"

"I cannot believe this conversation" tumayo si Jinn tapos he pulled my left arm.

"Jinn? What are you doing?" I asked

"Let's go" then he looked at his dad tapos bigla niya akong binitawan and he suddenly pulled the shirt of his dad, he's ready to punch but suddenly his dad chuckled.

"Why are you doing this? How dare you meddle with my own life?! Dad, hindi ako papakasal kay Denise"

"This is for your own good, for our company, ikaw rin makikinabang nito in the future"

"For that fucking company! You're only doing this for you. Wag mo na akong idamay!" he let go of his dad and he pulled me. Kinaladkad niya ako papalabas ng bahay nila hanggang sa harap ng bahay namin.

"Ano bang ginagawa mo?"

"I just want to get you out of that house!"

"Tito is just talking to me, bakit ba hindi mo magawang respetuhin yung dad mo, why did you act that way?"

"Because kung ano ano ang sinasabi niya sayo!"

"Why are you shouting at me?!" We looked at each other. I sighed

"I'm sorry, pati ikaw nadadamay pa sa gulo namin" he said

"It's okay" I calm myself "I'm your friend and it's my role. So, don't worry and don't start a fight with your father again, okay?"

He chuckled "You're my friend?" tapos tumawa siya malakas

"Why, why are you even laughing?" I asked

"So..." he pointed his right hand to me "all this time yun lang talaga tingin mo saken?"

"Jinn?"

"Pao, sige nga. Let me ask you one question.."

I just looked at him

"Will it be okay if pakasalan ko talaga si Denise? "

"Why are you even asking me that question? Jinn, I'm tired, let's just talk tomorrow" I was about to open the door pero he pulled me and we're like, each away from each other

"Mahirap bang sagutin yung tanong ko? I thought you're my friend? I want a friendly advice" he said
