Team SVRN: Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Venus Deterzo, Johnny Gallo/Ricochet, and Nightingale, face against forces of evil that will put them to the test as Remnant faces its darkest hour.
The next day was in work. Eddie Brock and Cletus Kasady, the former Venom and Carnage, were about to be treated for their cancer by Doctor Martin Li. Unbeknownst to them Hobgoblin and the Inner Demons were getting ready for their plan.
Cletus Kasady could only think about the time when he first became Carnage. "It was a day when I finally understood death, man," murmured Cletus to himself.
Unknown to everyone, Cletus was very aware of the actions he committed as Carnage. He allowed the Carnage symbiote to control his every move, even if it did mean serving the Synoptic. "And Spider-Man stopped all the fun," frowned Cletus. "If only there was a way to continue the fun. The chaos."
Soon both Eddie and Cletus were in hospital beds. Eddie and Cletus had their limbs strapped onto their beds. Doctor Martin Li was in his surgeon scrubs and mask as he began to fill the syringe with the treatment. Eddie asked, "What's that going to do?" Martin explained, "This will help your body reject the symbiote spores in your bloodstream. Then you feel normal once and for all." Eddie smiled, "Thanks for everything, Li." Martin nodded, "It is my sincere pleasure." He carefully put the syringe into Eddie's arm and infused the treatment into his body. Martin turned to Cletus and did the same. Cletus taunted, "Want to take my temperature, doctor man? I'll be happy to drop my pants for you." Martin rolled his eyes as he went to Eddie as he instructed, "Now, count back to one hundred. Soon the treatment will take affect and trust me, it will hurt." Eddie assured, "Either way, I'll be happy to die a human than a monster." Eddie breathed in as he began counting down, "100... 99... 98..."
Hobgoblin was flying on top of the prison as he looked over at the footage of the operation. "This reminds me of these doctor drama stories from TV," said Hobgoblin. "Well, time we turn this drama show into a horror movie."
Eddie and Cletus started to wheeze intensely as they were struggling in their bindings. The treatment wasn't taking it easy on their bodies. One the nurses said, "Their heartbeats are going erratic, Doctor Li!" Martin tried to reassure, "The symbiotic spores are fighting against the treatment! Don't worry, the treatment will win! I know it!"
Hobgoblin snickered, "Sorry, Doctor Li. But that's not going to happen. Get ready Inner Demons."
Suddenly Cletus started to laugh maniacally suddenly red and black ooze started to appear on his arms and legs. Martin watched in horror as he gasped, "No, this cannot be." He looked at Eddie who started to spout white and black ooze on his body as he panicked, "Doctor Li, what's happening to me?!" Martin could not answer as he looked at him with confusion and horror. The ooze coming from their bodies began taking shape on their bodies as Martin and the nurses watched. They began growing claws, shaping fanged mouths, and eyes resembling Spider-Man's eyes. They both tore out of their beds as Li and the nurses stared at them.

Cletus Kasady was completely red with black markings and claws, six tendrils on his back, white twisted Spider-Man like eyes, and mouth full of fangs. He looked much like his old Carnage form. Eddie Brock was completely chalk white with a black spider symbol adorning his chest and back with the front two legs reaching over to his shoulders and the back two legs reaching to his thighs. His face was resembled a luchador mask with red orange glowing eyes and a mouth full of fangs. Eddie also had spikes on his forearms, shoulders, and chin. "What has happened to me, Doctor Li?" asked Eddie in exasperation. Martin could only say, "I do not know. This wasn't supposed to happen." Carnage laughed, "Well, I'm glad it did happen! Now, time for CHAOS!!!" He snarled as he went over to Martin Li and the nurses claws raised. He was blocked by Eddie who demanded, "Stay away from them!" Carnage asked, "What's wrong, Venom? Don't you love a good killing?" Eddie retorted, "I am not Venom!" Carnage's tendrils grabbed Eddie and threw him through a wall. Carnage growled, "Then I'll find my own playmates." He broke through the medical center's door as he ran to find his "playmates."
Team SVRN's scrolls rang as Peter said, "Disturbance at the Raft. Let's go team!" Peter held up his watch as he activated the nanobots to form his suit. With that, Team SVRN were on their way to the Raft.
A couple guards saw Carnage and ordered, "Fire!" They blasted their guns at Carnage who made a shield on his arm as his tendrils grabbed their guns and threw them off the side. Carnage laughed as he lunged at the guards and beat them to a bloody pulp. He enjoyed the screams of pain he delivered to them until he suddenly stopped. On the corner of his eye, Carnage saw a woman in a cell wearing a straitjacket. The woman was pale white with long black hair and had a black tattooed rhombus on her left eye. "Hey! Why'd you suddenly stop making those people give with the screams of pain and torture?" asked the woman. "I was really into those high pitched tones, man! I'm a big fan of your work!" Carnage smiled, "Oh, mama! Something tells me you're my kind of girl! Kill here often?" The woman smiled, "My name's Shriek!" Shriek looked at Carnage's tendrils as she admired, "Oooo! Those tentacles are simply wild! This could be the beginning of a new friendship!" Carnage walked over to her as Shriek offered, "Cut me free! I can't wait to join you on the slaughter circuit!" Carnage asked, "Why should I share my action?" Shriek flashed a smile as she answered, "You have nothing to lose... and soooo much more to gain!" Carnage smiled as he tore the bars off with his tendrils and ripped the straps off of Shriek's straightjacket.
