Team SVRN: Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Venus Deterzo, Johnny Gallo/Ricochet, and Nightingale, face against forces of evil that will put them to the test as Remnant faces its darkest hour.
Peter Parker had his suit and tie on with his Daily Bugle pass and camera ready for tonight's fundraiser hosted by the Schnee Family. J. Jonah Jameson and Joseph Robertson were also with him in order to donate money for the reconstruction of Vale. But first Peter had to enter inside. He showed his Daily Bugle pass to the guard at the front door and the guard let him enter. Peter then hurried on his way to where Weiss Schnee was expected to be singing on stage.
Peter kneeled down to take pictures of Weiss Schnee singing alone on stage with her arms outstretched. The heiress was standing below the center of the painted emblem of Atlas that dominates the stage. Then Weiss sang, "I'm not your pawn, not another thing you own. I was not born guilty of your crimes. The riches and your influence can't hold me anymore. I won't be possessed, burdened by your royal test. I will not surrender. This life is mine." The audience applauded Weiss, even Peter did. Weiss turned to look up at the balcony where her father and brother were. Peter also saw them as he remembered when he saved the great Jacques Schnee's life.
Peter shook his head off of the memories as Weiss Schnee walked off backstage. "Parker!" exclaimed his boss J. Jonah Jameson. "Get yourself to the after party in five-point-five seconds or you're fired!" Peter nodded, "Yes sir, Mr. Jameson." He then hurried on his way to the after party.
Peter was with J. Jonah Jameson and Joseph Robertson at the after party. Mostly Peter spent taking pictures of the important guests, also a picture of the Schnee Family comprising of Jacques, Weiss, and the youngest Whitley Schnee. Jacques didn't seem to think that Peter was Spider-Man nor did he care. He seemed to focus on the conversation he was having with a man with glasses and a grey haired woman in a green dress. Peter walked to Jameson who pointed, "There's the king and queen of Attilan Kingdom. Take a photo of them." Peter looked to see both Blackagar Boltagon and Medusalith Amaquelin sharing a drink.

Peter walked over to them as he bowed respectively and asked politely, "Excuse me, your majesty, but may I take a photo of you? It is for the Daily Bugle." Blackagar smiled and nodded as Peter took a picture of them. "May I ask a question to you, please?" asked Peter. Medusalith nodded, "But of course. What is your question, young man?" Peter asked, "So why are you here? Most of the people are here out of spite." Medusalith answered, "Black Bolt and I are here because we genuinely and truthfully want to help Vale in its reconstruction." Blackagar did a few sign language gestures as Medusalith translated, "Black Bolt is asking why are you here. Honestly." Peter replied, "Well, it's kinda my job to take pictures of what J. Jonah Jameson wants to be on the paper, but a part of me wanted to go because the money donated will help me and my aunt rebuild our home at Vale." Blackagar smiled as he did a few sign language gestures as Medusalith translated, "Black Bolt says that he hopes to do the same for you, as do I." Peter nodded, "Thanks." He then heard a woman say, "But really, does it come as any surprise, what happened to Vale?" Peter narrowed his eyes at the woman as her husband tries to silence her. The woman laughed, "What? You said the same thing last night. If they're so arrogant to think they can get by without proper kingdom defense, then I say good riddance." Peter scowled at her until he heard Weiss scream, "Shut up!" The room went silent as everyone looked at her, even Peter. Jacques asked, "What?" Weiss raised her voice as she added, "You don't have a clue! None of you do!" The woman asked, "Excuse me?" Weiss reprimanded, "You're all just standing around talking about nothing! Worrying about your hair, your money, your stupid problems that don't mean anything!" Jacques approaches her and grabs Weiss' wrist. Peter's spider sense rang in his head as Weiss pulled away and accidentally made a glyph that created a Boarbatusk that charged toward the woman. Peter tapped on his watch to summon his Spider-Man suit, but realized that he was wearing an ordinary watch. He then loosened his tie and button down his dress shirt for his other Spider-Man suit but remembered it was still in Jameson's office. Then suddenly General James Ironwood shot the Boarbatusk before it could reach the woman. The woman ordered Ironwood, "Arrest her! What are you waiting for? She's insane, she should be locked up." Ironwood put away his weapon as he replied, "She's the only one making sense around here. Thanks for the party, Jacques." He then casually makes his exit as Peter wondered mentally, 'What on Remnant just happened?'
