After a little while of standing in the rain we decided that we would go back to Brad's dorm and spend a bit of time together inside, I collected my bag from the sea wall along with my notebook and we walked back up the little hill to our dorm rooms. Brad walked me to his dorm and opened the door, his room looks the same as mine apart from the fact that his is a lot messier than mine, but what can you expect from two teenage boys. "Connor isn't here." Brad said as he walked into his bedroom area and turned around to see I wasn't there. "Hayley?" Brad asked and walked back over to the door to see me standing there awkwardly. "Are you going to come in?" Brad asked. "Erm yeah. Ok." I replied and stepped inside so he could close the door. "If you're staying take your shoes off." Brad said, repeating what I had said a few days ago and then winking at me which made me smile. I took my shoes off and then followed him into his bedroom area to see a very messy bedroom, I stood in the middle of the room and took in the amount of clothes that were thrown around everywhere and the food wrappers left on the sides. "Sorry about the mess..." Brad said as he put the wrappers in the bin and made his bed. "It's ok..." I said and continued to stand awkwardly, he walked back over to his bed and sat down on it. "Did you want a drink or something?" Brad asked. "I'm ok thank you." I replied and he nodded. "Come and sit with me?" Brad asked as he patted the bed next to him, I agreed and climbed on to his bed before sitting down in front of him. "This is nice." Brad said and I giggled, all I can smell is him and I know this is weird but he smells so good. "What did you wanna do? We can play a game?" Brad asked. "Erm yeah sure, what game?" I asked. "That depends on if your more of a computer game or a board game person." Brad said and I smiled. "I like both." I replied. "Which one do you wanna play now?" Brad asked. "Well what board games have you got and what computer games have you got?" I asked. "Board games mostly consists of Monopoly and The Game Of Life. I have an Xbox so it's FIFA or Call Of Duty." Brad explained. "The Game Of Life?" I asked and Brad nodded. "Good choice, I will just go and get it." Brad said as he jumped off of the bed and walked over to his wardrobe, he looked up on the shelf in his wardrobe and grabbed the game before closing it again.

*knock knock*

Brad placed the game on the bed and gave me a confused look. "Connor should have a key..." Brad explained as he walked over to the door and opened it. "Hi Bradley!" I heard a familiar voice call out, the voice of Jasmine. I can't see them so I will just have to listen to their conversation from here. "Oh, hi..." Brad replied. "Can I come in?" Jasmine asked and I panicked, I need to hide because she can't see me here! I jumped off of the bed and climbed into the wardrobe as it was the only place I could think of at short notice, I closed the doors and buried myself into his clothes just enough so I could still hear them talking. "Erm... Not rea..." Brad started but Jasmine pushed past him and walked into the bedroom area, Brad chased her in and a confused look spread across his face when he saw I wasn't there, I pushed the wardrobe door open a tiny bit so I could see them through a crack in the door.

"What you up to then?" Jasmine asked and jumped on his bed. "Erm, nothing." Brad said as he tried to find me. "You seen that Hayley girl recently?" She asked. "No..." Brad lied and stopped looking. "Told you she would back off, look I wanted to apologise for hitting you the other day. It wasn't right of me, I guess I was just jealous." Jasmine explained, yeah right... She isn't sorry, she just wants him back. Brad stood in the room not really knowing what to say, Jasmine stood up and walked over to him. "Can we... Maybe try us?" She asked and ran her hands through his hair. "Us?" Brad asked. "Yeah, you know... Me and you." Jasmine explained and my heart physically started to hurt as I watched her run her hands down his chest. "No..." Brad said and Jasmine looked shocked. "No?!" She replied. "No, I don't like you that way Jasmine. I never have, you have just made it seem like I do to everyone else." Brad explained as he lightly made her step back, he turned his head to scan the room discreetly to try and find me.

"But you told me you loved me a few weeks ago, before we came here." Jasmine explained. "I was drunk, very very drunk... I didn't know what I was saying." Brad said, he is obviously aware that I am still in the room somewhere. "Yeah, but people say when you're drunk you say the truth." Jasmine replied. "No, Jasmine I don't love you. I never have and I never will." Brad stated and walked away from her. "What has happened to you? Ever since you met that girl you have changed." Jasmine replied and Brad stopped walking. "Her name is Hayley and she is one of the nicest girls I have ever met! I have not changed because of her, I have changed because I realised how much of an idiot I have been my whole life and maybe I don't wanna be like that anymore, maybe I want to grow up and live my life. Maybe you should try it." Brad said, he walked back over to the door and Jasmine followed. "Brad, I still like you." Jasmine stated, I could no longer see them but I can still hear them. "Well I don't!" Brad shouted, I heard him open the door and things went quiet for a few seconds. "Oh, hi Connor." Brad said, Connor is clearly at the door. "Hi..." Connor said and stepped in, I heard him take his shoes off and I watched him walk over to his bed. "I would like you to leave me alone." Brad said and I heard Jasmine walk out. "Forever?" Jasmine asked. "Yes, forever. I don't want to talk to you anymore, you're just getting in my way." Brad replied. "But I like you..." Jasmine said. "I'm sorry but I don't like you." Brad said and I heard the door shut.

I tried to push open the wardrobe door slowly but it flew open and I fell on to the floor, Connor jumped at my entrance and I looked at him from the floor. "Hayley!" Brad stated and ran over to help me up. "Why are you in the wardrobe?" Connor asked. "I needed to stay away from Jasmine, if she knew I was here that conversation would of gone very differently." I explained and stood up with Brad's help, I looked at him and he smiled at me. "Did you hear everything?" He asked and I nodded. "Are you ok?" He asked and I nodded. "You don't have to explain anything." I said and he nodded. "I should probably get going though." I replied and went to walk away but Brad stopped me. "Don't go, we still need to play our game." Brad said. "Do you really wanna play a game with me after the conversation you just had with Jasmine?" I asked and he nodded. "I told her that I didn't like her and I want her to leave me alone, that's all." Brad said. "But you also said that you told her you loved her a few weeks ago." I stated and Brad sighed. "I was very drunk, I was stupidly drunk because I was so stupid back then. You have shown me that I need to grow up and change for the better, I enjoy spending time with you because I don't have to get drunk to impress you or to have fun with you." Brad explained and sat on his bed. "Did you used to get drunk a lot then?" I asked.

"Every week..." Connor stated and I looked at him. "He would go out to a party every week back in senior school, Tristan used to get very drunk as well so me and James were like their parents for the night, looking out for them. Brad would get so drunk that he never knew what he was doing and couldn't remember anything the next day, his drunk self seemed to like Jasmine but his sober self didn't like her at all... Which is why Jasmine acts like this now, she gets confused and jealous." Connor explained and I looked at Brad. "I'm trying to change, I haven't gotten drunk since I have been here and I have been trying to push Jasmine away from me because she's the one that got me drunk all the time, she worked out that if I was drunk I would say I like her and she liked that." Brad explained and I nodded. "I understand." I said and placed my hand carefully on his knee. "I'm proud of you." I replied and he looked at me. "Are you?" He asked and I nodded. "I'm proud that you have decided to change and move on to the next stage of your life, Jasmine clearly isn't good for you and it's a good thing that you are pushing her out of your life." I continued. "You know what made me want to change?" Brad asked and I shook my head. "You..." He replied.
