Brads point of view:

Days I have been sitting in this hospital watching over Hayley, she looks so lifeless, like she isn't there anymore. Me and mum managed to get out of the accident with just a few scratches and bruises somehow but things didn't turn out as great for Hayley, let me take you back to the day it happened...

We were coming home from the theme park in the car as mum offered to drive us, but now I wish we had taken the train like we were originally going to. For some unknown reason mum decided it would be a good idea to text while driving which was odd because she is never normally an unsafe driver, she has always been a very safe person. It was raining and she lost control of the car and another car crashed into the side of our car, Hayley's side. I watched as her body flew over to me and her head hit the window on my side before the door opened and she landed in the road, I'm not sure how she managed to get that far when she had her seatbelt on but it happened. Me and my mum luckily stayed seated with a few small cuts and bruises from where glass and stones had hit us from the impact of the car crash, but why did it have to be her side of the car that crashed, why not mine...

Me and mum both ran out of the car as soon as possible before calling an ambulance and running over to Hayley, there was blood everywhere but luckily she was still breathing, she just seemed knocked out. I tried to wake her up as the ambulance arrived but she wasn't moving, I couldn't stop crying and I wouldn't leave her side as she was picked up and placed in the back of the ambulance. As for the people in the other car I have no idea if they are still alive or if they are injured, but right now I just want Hayley to wake up.

We managed to get her transferred to a hospital closer to university so me, the boys and Rachel could visit her before and after our lessons. Hayley's dad and sister have visited her a few times too but Jodie needs to be at school and her dad works a lot, as for her mum I don't even know if she is aware that her daughter is in hospital. I have been checked over by the hospital and was given the all clear but right now I couldn't care less about myself, I'm too worried about Hayley to think about myself. As soon as she arrived at the hospital she was given injections and x-rays to try and work out what was wrong with her and to help ease the pain, it didn't take them long to work it out.

She has a broken arm, a broken leg and then the bad news came along, she may have broken her spine a little. As for now the doctors don't know if she can walk or not, they said that we will have to wait and see what state she is in when she wakes up, I really want her to wake up... Please Hayley just wake up... I need you and I feel like this is all my fault! I can't sleep because all I can think about is you flying out of the car and onto the road... I just want to know you're still in there and you're ok... Everyone is worried about you.

"How's she doing?" I heard Tristan ask as I looked up to see the boys and Rachel walk into the room and sit on the seats dotted around the room. "She's still not awake." I bluntly replied, James walked over to me and rested his hand on my shoulder. "Why don't you go back to uni and try to get some sleep? You look depressed and tired." James asked. "I can't, I need to be here for when she wakes up and even if I did go I wouldn't be able to get to sleep anyway. I need to know she is ok." I replied and held her cold hand before kissing it. "Is she in a coma?" Rachel asked. "I don't think so, I haven't asked and I don't want to know..." I replied and kissed the top of Hayley's head. "Brad the broken bones will heal, I can promise you that." Connor commented. "I know, but she isn't waking up and I want her to walk again." I replied and looked down. "Why couldn't it have been me and not her..." I mumbled. "Don't say that!" James exclaimed and I sighed. "It's true, I would rather it was me that got hurt." I replied and looked up at him. "Brad, go and at least have a shower and get something to eat. We will call you if anything happens." Tristan suggested and I shook my head. "I'm not going anywhere." I replied and held her hand a little tighter.
