Hi guys, I just wanted to make a quick point of saying I'm sorry if my chapters start to get worse or are not as amusing to read. Today I had my AS level results day and it didn't go to plan so I'm not feeling 100% at the moment, but I will try and update as much as I can...

The day of filming the cover came along pretty quickly, we spent the morning in the recording studio writing some more lyrics and starting to think of a tune to go with the song and I am starting to like this song. After our recording session we all went back up to our own dorms for lunch and then afterwards all met in Tristan and Connor's room to record the cover.
"Where are we filming this then guys?" James asked as he passed me his iPhone for me to record on. "I thought we could just sit on the windowsill and play the guitars." Tristan asked and they all nodded, the boys sat on the window sill while Tristan sat next to them on his box so he could drum the beat. They had a little sound check session and a quick run though of the song while I sat in a chair in front of them and stood the phone up on a few books until it was level with the boys. "Are you ok there Hayley?" Tristan asked and I nodded. "Yeah, just checking that the camera angle is ok." I replied and he nodded before smiling at me, I smiled in return and went back sorting out the lighting and then the angle. It's only on an iPhone so the quality won't be great, if the boys do well then maybe I will save up and get them a camera they can use for their videos to say congratulations.
"Ok, are you ready?" Brad asked and strummed his guitar a little. "Yes!" Tristan shouted and played a beat on his drum box. "Hayley, are you ready?" Brad asked and I slowly nodded, I mean my job isn't that hard... I just have to press play and the stop. "Ok, when you're ready then Hayley." Brad said and winked at me which made my cheeks turn red, he hasn't winked at me in ages and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I pressed the play button and gave the boys the thumbs up. "Hello! We are a new band called The Vamps, I'm Brad, this is Connor, this is James and this is Tristan. This is our first cover on YouTube, we hope you enjoy our music and hopefully we can create a lovely little fan base? The song we are about to perform is called Vegas Girl by Conor Maynard, I hope you enjoy!" Brad explained and then the boys started playing their instruments before Brad started singing.
