"I'll get it!" Brad shouted from downstairs, I am currently in my room getting ready for tonight's cinema and dinner 'date' as Brad likes to call it. He wants this to be our first proper date which I think is cute but I am slightly nervous as well, this is my first ever date and I'm not really sure what to expect.
*knock knock*
"Come in!" I replied as I finished straightening my hair, I turned my head to look at the door and saw Brad walk in with another girl who looked a lot like him but a bit old then him. "Hayley, this is the baby sitter or in other words my sister." Brad said as I placed the straighteners on the side and walked over to them. "Hi, it's lovely to meet you." I replied and smiled at her. "This is Natalie but we just call her Nat." Brad explained and I nodded. "I hope you didn't make her come all the way from Birmingham just to look after my sister..." I commented and Brad shook his head. "She was in London anyway so I asked if she would mind doing me a favour, she loves children." Brad answered and I nodded. "Can I meet Jodie?" She asked and I nodded before walking over to her room, Brad and Nat followed behind me and I knocked on the door. "Jodie, can I come in?" I asked. "Yeah!" She replied and I opened the door to see her watching something on my phone. "I would like to introduce you to someone." I said and she looked confused. "As you know me and Brad are going out tonight, we didn't think it was right to give you a baby sitter because they are never good as you know." I explained and she nodded. "So Brad's sister has come down to look after you for a few hours tonight, she is really nice. Her name is Natalie." I continued and pointed behind me to Nat. "Hi." Nat said before she smiled and waved, Jodie shyly waved back and I smiled. "Is that ok?" I asked and Jodie nodded before hugging me. "What are you watching?" I asked. "YouTube." She replied and I nodded. "Can you at least put my phone on charge while you watch it so it doesn't run out of battery, I am going to need it for tonight." I asked her and she nodded before jumping down off of her bed and plugging the phone in.
I smiled at Brad and Nat before walking out of Jodie's room and back into my room, Nat stayed with Jodie but Brad seemed to follow me. "You look really nice by the way." Brad commented as he sat down on my bed and I began to curl my hair a little. "Thank you." I replied, I decided to go with a smart casual outfit today:
