Chapter 37: "where's Hayley?"

"I wanna go on that one!" Connor exclaimed as he pointed to one of the biggest rides in the park, I don't know what it is called and I don't want to know either because I'm not going on it... "Ok let's go!" Tristan commented as the boys and Rachel all ran off into the queue and I awkwardly stood by the entrance. "Excuse me." A boy said as I stepped to the side to let him through, I decided to go and sit on a bench near the ride so I wasn't in the way of the entrance.

Brad's point of view:
"This looks so cool!" James commented as we became closer and closer to the ride. "I am so excited!" Rachel exclaimed and hugged James. "Where's Hayley?" I asked and everyone looked around them to see she was nowhere to be seen. "No idea." Connor replied and I started to panic, what if someone has kidnapped her or something?! "Come on Brad! We need to get on the ride!" Tristan shouted as I turned around to see them all sitting in their seats. "I need to go and find Hayley!" I shouted back and started to make my way back down the queue. "But the ride?!" Connor shouted. "She is more important!" I shouted back, I pushed past all of the people until I reached the end of the queue and looked around me to try and find her, where could she have gone?! "Hayley!" I called to see if she would answer but nobody replied, I just received a few weird looks from kids walking past me. "Hayley!" I called again as I walked around to try and find her, I stopped walking and started to look around me before I saw a girl sitting on a bench just in front of me, I walked over to see it was Hayley and threw myself at her in a hug. She looked shocked and confused as I held her tight.

Hayley's point of view:
Brad threw himself at me and pulled me into a very tight hug which confused me, what's his problem? "Are you ok?" I asked. "Don't ever do that to me again!" Brad mumbled into my shoulder as I stood up to hug him properly. "Do what?" I asked in confusion. "Leave and not tell me where you are! I thought someone had kidnapped you!" Brad said as he pulled away and stood in front of me. "I'm sorry... I didn't realise it would worry you." I replied, now I feel bad... "Don't be sorry, just let me know where you are going so I know you are safe." Brad said and hugged me again, I hugged him back and he kissed my cheek. "Why didn't you come with us?" He asked as he pulled away just enough so he could rest his forehead against mine. "I'm not a fan of big rides..." I mumbled and looked at the floor, he lifted my chin up and pecked my lips. "Don't be embarrassed about it, I'm not a massive fan of them either." Brad replied and I gave him a little smile. "I'm sorry I scared you." I said and Brad moved his hands so they were sitting on my waist. "It's ok, I don't mind you going somewhere but please just tell me so I know you are safe?" Brad asked and I nodded. "I love you." He replied and placed a lingering kiss on my lips which I returned. "Aw! Goals!" Tristan commented as Brad pulled away, we turned around to see the boys and Rachel standing behind us and I blushed.

"You found her then?" Connor asked and Brad nodded. "Which ride is next?" James asked and Tristan looked on the map. "I wanna go on Stealth!" Connor shouted as the boys all ran off while Rachel stood with me. "You and Brad are cute." She mentioned as we slowly walked behind them. "Yeah, I guess." I replied and watched Brad run into the queue as I sat down on another bench. "Aren't you coming?" She asked. "I'm not one for big rides." I replied and she nodded. "Ok, I will sit with you then. We can catch up!" Rachel replied and I smiled as she sat down next to me.

"So, what did you and Brad get up to?" She asked and winked which made me giggle. "Well he came round my house and met my sister Jodie, he played teddy bears picnic with her a lot which was cute. He met my mum but she wasn't in the best mood and she wasn't very happy about Brad coming round but I couldn't care less what she thinks... We took Jodie to the park and Brad called me beautiful but then we had an argument because Brad wanted to spend time with me but I had to look after Jodie. We didn't talk for a few hours at night but in the morning he made up for it." I replied in the shortest way I possibly could. "So did you sleep with him?" She asked and I giggled. "I slept in the same bed as him yeah, but only sleeping... Nothing else." I replied and she laughed. "What did he do to say sorry for the argument?" She asked. "He wrote a letter apologising and then made a scrapbook for all of the good things that happen in my life, like a memory book. And he stuck a picture of him on the first page with the words 'will you be my girlfriend?' Written on it, so I guess that's chapter 1 of my memory book." I explained. "Aw that's the cutest thing ever!" Rachel exclaimed and I nodded. "It was sweet yeah, and then he took me to go and see La La Land and we went out for dinner after." I continued and Rachel smiled. "He really likes you." She replied and I nodded. "When was your first kiss?" She asked and I rolled my eyes. "What?!" She asked and I giggled. "The day he took me out to the cinema and for a meal, when we came back we got into Brad's bed and he kissed me." I said and blushed at the memory. "Ok you two are actually goals!" Rachel replied and I giggled.

"What about you and James?" I asked and she blushed before looking down at the floor, I nudged her shoulder and she looked up at me. "Well he came round for a few days in the first week of the holidays, he was originally meant to come round for one day but we just enjoyed spending time together. We both live in Bournemouth so we didn't have far to travel to meet up, the first day was spent at my house in my room. We watched movies and snuggled up in bed which was really cute and I really enjoyed it. He is so muscular!" Rachel stated and I giggled at the comment. "Then he was about to leave in the evening but he asked if I wanted to go to the beach with him the next day so I agreed. We spent the whole of the next day at the beach sunbathing and he even put my sun cream on for me which was nice!" Rachel commented and I winked before she laughed. "He hugged me a lot and he told me I'm beautiful a lot, but he has never hinted to actually wanting to be with me like Brad has for you." She replied. "I think he is just shy, he has never had a girlfriend before so this is his first time as well as yours, it just takes time and a lot of it. I waited months to get to where I am now! Maybe just keep spending time together and eventually he will say something." I explained and she nodded.

"Oh my that was one of the best rides I have ever been on!" Tristan shouted as the boys ran over to us, Brad sat next to me on the bench as Rachel walked over to James. "Was it fun?" I asked and he nodded, I saw his hair had become a bit windswept from the speed of the rollercoaster and giggled. "What?" He asked as I patted his hair down and tried to style it back into its original position as best as I could. "Bit windy was it?" I asked and winked as he giggled. "Are you being cheeky with me?" He asked and placed his hands either side of my waist so he could pull me on to his lap, I straddled his waist before hugging him. "We wanna go on Rush next." Tristan replied as we looked to the side to see the massive ride, I gulped a little and Brad smiled as he held my hands. "Me and Hayley are gonna sit this one out, you guys can go." Brad replied and they all nodded before running off into the queue.

"Did you have a nice chat with Rachel?" Brad asked and rested his forehead against mine, he seems to like doing this. "Yeah, she told me about her and James." I replied. "I know, James was telling me about Rachel." He replied and I smiled. "Are you going to go on any of the rides?" He asked. "I don't mind the smaller rides and the water rides, but I'm gonna let everyone get all of the big rides out of the way first." I explained and he nodded. "I could see you from up there." Brad said as he pointed up to the top of the ride he just went on, I looked up and it made me feel dizzy just thinking about it. "You still looked beautiful from up there." Brad smiled and winked as I blushed. "I love you." I replied and placed my lips on his, he kissed me back in a passionate kiss and I embraced the few seconds of his lips moving with mine until he pulled away and kissed my nose. "I love you too baby girl." He replied and I smiled before running my hands through his hair. "You are sleeping with me tonight, right?" He asked and I nodded. "I'm looking forward to it." I replied and winked as he smiled. "So am I." He replied and ran his hands down my arms and held my hands.
