Chapter 26, Captured?

Y/N POV

I released a breath I didn't realise I was holding as Eren said he would trust us. I looked back to the Titan following us and snarled.

"Cover your ears." Levi said pulling out a flare that I hadn't seen before. He loaded his gun with the flare and shot it in the air. I just managed to cover my ears in time to faintly hear a piercing noise cloud my eardrums racking my brain.

"Ugh my ears." I complained  "what the hell Levi?"

"You'll see." He replied and surged forward as did we all. Suddenly these contraptions that looked like arrows with a metal like string similar to 3dmg strings shot through the air in front of us.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Was all I heard for a few seconds, like gunshots firing through the air. I looked to the trees trying to see what was happening, I could just make out people pulling on chords and the arrows flying out.

Then it clicked

I looked back to see the Titan being shot with these arrows. They were lodged all through her body into the ground so she couldn't move.

She had officially been captured.

She screamed in anguish as more arrows pierced her skin. Anger and pain evidently showing on her face and her eyes just held sadness. I looked back and she looked right at me. I read her thought they were all a big jumble but the main word was failure. I almost felt sorry for her, but then I remembered what she had just done, I growled at her and put my middle fingers up and turned back around. I saw Levi looking at me and he rolled his eyes.

We all stopped are horses and tied them to a tree. Bullet neighed at me as I walked past him. I turned and gave him a peck on his nose and carried on walking.

I could hear Hanji somewhere above me so I attached my 3dmg to the tree that her annoying yet comforting voice was coming from and whizzed up.

"Well does someone wanna explain what the actual fuck is going on here, please." I said crossing my arms over my chest and raising an eyebrow.

"AH Y/N THE MOST AMAZING-NO SPECTACULAR THING HAS HAPPENED!, we have captured her, the female Titan, WOOHOO!" She screamed crushing me into a hug and jumping up and down.

She didn't have her 3dmg in the tree bark so she slipped and fell. I quickly jumped off and grabbed her arm, swinging her body onto the branch and whizzing back up myself.

"You should've left her." Levi muttered. "She would've been the perfect last snack."

"Oh yes I would've LOVED that." She squealed.

"Is she being sarcastic?"

"No."

"You shouldn't say that commander Hanji!" Molbit said with a worried expression on his face. Then Hanji started rambling about how she would love to be a contribution to a titans diet or something like that.

"Y/N." Levi said.

"Yeah?"

"After I've tried speaking to that." He said jabbing his finger below the branch to the Female Titan as Hanji called it. "I want you to go to my squad and Eren, just for extra protection, I feel like something's going to happen, it's probably nothing."

"Alrighty." I said smiling and watched and he flew onto her head. He said something that wasn't audible to my ears, which caused her to look a bit panicked, suddenly she closed her eyes. I tried to read her thoughts but it didn't work.

Then...

Her piercing blue eyes shot open and she screamed. She screamed so loud that I nearly fell of the tree. She screamed so loud that I had to raise my hands to my already sore ears and close my eyes in pain. I looked to Levi to see him stomp his foot on her head and tell her to 'shut the fuck up.'

Narrators/No ones/ 3rd person POV

Then Y/N blinked, and as her normally beautiful E/C (eye colour) turned a dark, blood like shade of red. She breathed in deeply, taking in her surroundings and barked at Levi.

"THEY ARE COMING FROM ALL ANGLES, EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET AWAY FROM HER, THEIR MAIN TARGET IS TO DEVOUR HER!"

Levi shot his 3dmg on to the tree she was on.

"Who are coming Y/N?"

"Titans, from everywhere."

"Okay, go to Eren, full speed and don't stop until you reach him."

"On it." She said getting ready to go.

"Oh and Y/N,"

"Yeah."

"Be careful." He said looking into Y/N's eyes. She smiled gently, winking.

"Yeah you to." And whizzed off, towards Eren, as she could hear his thought, and they were directing her to him.

"Ugh." Y/N mumbled "Someone else's thought?, who else here is a Titan?"

Then she stopped and pressed her hand to a tree. She closed her eyes and concentrated, she could sense Eren moving at an alarming rate.

Opening her eyes she looked down to see a flare dropped on the floor with a green signal in it.

"What?, Erwin was here?"

"NO GUNTHER."

Y/N turned her head in that direction, wondering if it was Eren who screamed Gunthers name. She quickly made her way to the voice whipping past trees that had previously been used with the 3dmg marks on them.

She breathed in, smelling the familiar scent of blood welling her senses. The red eyed girl looked down to see blood splattered on the tree following it to see Gunther dead. Her eyes turned blue as they settled on her friend who she had been with, just a few minutes before. She looking closer to see the wire on his gear had snapped- no it's been cut.

She didn't have time to mourn, but the sight of her friend did bring sadness to her already broken heart. She closed his eyes with her fingers and ripped his scout emblem off his jacket pocket.

"Goodbye Gunther, see you on the other side." She whispered before flying off, blinking hard as her eyes turned red again and putting Gunther's emblem safely in her pocket, she looked to the sky.

A big white flash, almost like lightning crossed her vision not to far off. Followed by a roar of anguish and anger. The female Titan again? But she's captured. Y/N thought whizzing of to investigate the noise and flash.
