"Bet you can't catch me!" Skykit yowled to her sisters in the EagleClan camp. It was her fifth day out of the nursery even though she opened her eyes long ago. She was determined to make the most of this day.
"But it's my turn to be chased!" Rainkit whined. "You only want attention!"
Featherkit stepped between the sisters, "Come on. We don't need to argue."
Skykit didn't listen, "Your the one who wants attention!" Skykit told Rainkit. "We said that I would go after Featherkit."
Rainkit opened her mouth to argue but before any words came out, Featherkit barged between the sisters.
"Stop it!" she shrieked. "This is getting us no where! We should be having fun, not arguing! How about we go and get some fresh-kill and go back to the nursery. It's getting late."
"Fine," Skykit muttered as she went to get an eagle to share with her littermates.
Rainkit watched her go. "Yeah, you should be the one bringing the prey to us."
"Lighten up, will you?" Featherkit shoved Rainkit light-heartedly as Skykit came trotting back with a young hawk. "Nice choice Skykit!"
"It won't fill all our bellies. You should have gotten that eagle. It is bigger." Rainkit mewed to Skykit.
Skykit looked half-annoyed half-amused as she told Rainkit, "I know! I got a vole for myself! I'm going to the nursery to get some sleep." With that, Skykit jumped to her paws and padded to the nursery.
