Orangepaw looked at Skypaw in horror. Her sides had deep scratches and her belly was torn up. He let Sunhook take her to Stormstar's den while Orangepaw raced to the medicine cat den.
"Leaftail! Skypaw's hurt!" Orangepaw called.
Leaftail was out of her nest in a second. "Was it in a dream?"
Orangepaw nodded as Leaftail raced into the herb stores. She soon reappeared with a lot of cobwebs and some herbs.
As they raced up to Stormstar's den, they met Sunhook and Treeheart going in the same direction. Orangepaw remembered that Treeheart was Skypaw's father so it was sensible to call him. When they got up to the den, Treeheart let out a cry of shock and grief as he looked at Skypaw's bloodied figure.
Leaftail motioned with her tail for everyone to stand back, and she started patching Skypaw up. Soon, the only reminders of the scratches were the little cobweb patches on her fur.

Featherpaw woke up to Rainpaw yowling in pain. She looked over in her sister's nest and saw Rainpaw thrashing around. Featherpaw soon saw the blood and raced to find Moontail.
"Moontail! Moontail! Rainpaw had the dream again!"
Soon, Moontail was racing across the clearing. She soon fixed Rainpaw up, but she had a worried look on her face that made Featherpaw feel scared.
"She'll live, right?"
Moontail nodded and mewed, "Yes but this is the fifth time she's had this dream, and the second time she woke up with blood. Yet she doesn't remember anything."
"I do this time, though its not much."
Featherpaw looked at Rainpaw, who was awake. "What do you remember?"
"I must go to the gathering tomorrow. The dreams have something to do with that."
"Fine," Rabbitstar had entered the den. "As long at it means that you are safe."
Blizzardwind soon entered the den, and Rabbitstar and Moontail ducked out to talk.
Rainpaw lifted her head and mewed, "The dreams have something to do with Skypaw. I know that."
While Featherpaw processed the new information, Blizzardwind was grooming her daughter's matted fur.
It's a good thing that we're the only apprentices, Featherpaw thought.

Rainpaw felt battered, but extremely bored. I could be doing something useful, like fixing the elder's bedding, wait no! Bringing them fresh kill. I feel so useless, she thought.

Skypaw was bouncing around the camp. She felt cooped up. It wasn't natural to stay in camp! Skypaw soon caught Leaftail's disapproving glance, and remembered that she was supposed to stay in her nest. Skypaw walked back to her den and sighed. She was confined to camp with so much energy. Yay.
