The wind blows gently,

Blossoms from the tree tops,

With a cherry's scent,

The air is full of passion,

As I look ahead,

To see the one I sought out,

I heard birds chirping,

Reunion with the old friend,

I'd been looking for,

I couldn't help but smile,

Lost in my relief,

But I failed to notice,

That he wasn't glad,

He did not feel the same way,

Had a knife in hand,

"I've come to bring you back."

I say joyously,

"You didn't betray our town,

I can still trust you,

I managed to clear your name,

It's safe to return."

"No, it was a betrayal."

Lelouch said bluntly,

"Leave before I hurt you too."

Rain began to fall,

"Go, I'm working for them."

Why?" I asked him,

"I can't tell you," Lelouch said,

"But I trusted you!"

"I'm sorry, but I must go."

"But Lelouch!" I say,

It was to late, for Lelouch,

Was already gone.
