E I G H T E E N (final)

Its been eight years since that day Phil became Dan's boyfriend, and Dan became Phil's. And even through so many tough times, they still made it work

Phil finished high school online and Dan finished in school. Gradually through the years both of them stopped caring what other people thought of the two. Phil began to wear his "pow! I'm Phil" clothes again, because he was so much more comfortable in them. Shirts covered in pugs and butterfly stickers on them. Daniel went back to my own comfortable clothes too . Black everything ( kinda, not really). Sweaters with horns on the hood, and striped black and white ones. Dan stopped straightening his naturally curly mop he calls hair.

Once Phil had finished high school, he started this thing called 'YouTube'. It was basically somewhere where you filmed videos and posted them for the entire world to see. Its quite amazing really. He named his channel 'AmazingPhil' and posted videos on it a lot. The older always suggested that Dan make a account. Dan still felt too shy and reserved, but eventually ended up making one by posting a video he wishes he could just delete from the internet entirely. They both still post on there and now even have a joined gaming channel.

You know how they say that you stop talking to your friends after high school? Well that wasn't the case for Dan, Phil, Louise, PJ, and Chris. Yes, Chris. He eventually got over his idiocy and basically begged them to forgive him. It took some time, and some explaining, but during the last year of high school they were all cool with each other. They made Chris explain what his grudge against Phil was, and none of them were really expecting his reply.

" Okay... don't make fun of me but, I had a crush on Phil first year.", Chris explained, his eyes shut tight, not wanting to see our reaction, " But then I saw what he did to people. I still liked him. It was terrible. Even though I knew how bad he was and how much I liked him, I swore I would never let anyone I loved be hurt by him. Theat includes you Dan. I know I was horrible, but I thought I was protecting you. All that stuff was just me trying to get at Phil. I was in the crowd of people watching when Phil kicked Bryce's ass, and the only thing I could think was that ' This guy is going to ruin my bestfriend'. I teamed up with Bryce and his team to both get back at Phil. I joined sports teams and acted completely different, and I am so sorry for all of it. We realized that the only way to really get back at Phil, was through Dan. I swear, I swear, I tried to talk them out of it. I made up every little excuse to keep the from it but it was no use. They had their minds set.", He had finished, opening his eyes and scaning out faces.

As for Emmet... Phil never heard from him again, and he wondered if he knew where he was now, with over four million subscribers on YouTube, doing tours and going to youtube consventions. It took Phil a long time to get over Emmet but Dan was always there to help him.

The couple weren't "out" to their fans. They all created what they called "phan" and it was one of the things that cause a few arguments between Dan and Phil. They decided they would come out to the world until they were both totally ready and not too scared and nervous about it. But honestly, Dan really enjoys looking at all of those Phan theories and if they came out people would stop writing them. Both of of them found it funny when their fans panicked over something they did that was slightly gay. It was hilarious actually.

Dan sat next to his beautiful boyfriend on the couch in their apartment, and watched him scoll through twitter, smiling ever few minutes. " Are you hungry?", Phil, stopped, and looked at Dan, "Kinda, what did you have in mind?", Phil answered and set his phone next to him on the couch. " Pizza? Chinese? Mexican? You pick.", Dan shifted is body to face Phil. Phil thought for a moment, "Pizza, and a Streven Universe rewatch marathon?", Dan laughed, at Phils request and pulled out his phone to order.

Phils heavy breathing was enough to tell Dan that he had fallen asleep. Phils head rested in Dan's lap, as the younger lightly sproked his hair. Using his other arm, Dan arranged some pillows on one end of the couch, and began to lay down pulling Phil with him so that the older boys head was on Dans chest. Dan pulled the blanket that rested on the head to the couch over top of them. One hand held Phil closer to Dan and the other continued to stroke his hair. Dan felt tried too and felf his eyes begin to get heavy. With one soft breath, Dan whispered to the sleeping boy on top of him,

" I love you"

I'm not crying you are. So, I guess this is it. Ive loved writing this story o much and I just want to thank you for all of the love and support you have given me. Writing this story and reading your comments have made me so happy, I cant thank you enough. I'm sad that its ending but I think its time.
