Overwhelming

Fear is a constant.

Constant wondering,
Constant restlessness,
And constant disappointment.

It occurs countless times.

Countless worries being worried,
Countless sleeps being lost,
And countless lives being ruined.

Most of all, it has its occasional side effects.

Occasional respiratory problems,
Occasional temper issues,
And occasional mental difficulties.

It's all too much,
Yet to top it all off
Each fear comes with an extra fear.

An extra fear
Of simply having the original fear,
So that no action is ever taken.

After all,
Why confront something
When you can avoid it?
