Failure after failure,
Your resolve weakens
As nothing seems to work.
Rejection after rejection
From the very one
Whose praise you seek.
Though he has no mercy,
While you wait to receive
What you deserve,
And he tosses away your ideas,
As though your hard work is worthless.
Then one day,
You submit all your efforts
To someone else.
And finally
You are accepted.

Whether in relationships or work environments, there may always be that person who loathes everything you do, and that's okay.
Just tell them to go fuck themselves, and you go find yourself someone who gives a shit.
