When Tanner said that I was going shopping, he meant that I would be shoved into a car to meet all of Alex's girl friends at the mall. Just how I wanted to spend a Sunday.

"Do I have to shop?" I whined as I followed Alex into his room. He nodded frantically as he went through his numerous drawers. I flopped on his white mattress and stared at the white ceiling which had prisms dancing in the corners.

Seriously why did this family like white so much?

I sighed loudly as Alex threw on a black polo.
"Shopping won't be so bad will it? Don't girls love shopping or whatever?" Alex said as he flopped down next to me.
"Not all girls are alike." I mumbled as I threw my arms behind my head.

"I can tell." Alex said as his hand brushed underneath my ear.
"Nine? Really?" Alex asked as he teased with my hair.
"Well I liked them." I mumbled quietly. Alex chuckled softly as he rolled closer towards me. He got up on his elbows and looked me straight in the eyes.

"I like them too." Alex said softly as his gray eyes bore into mine. I finally understood what made him different from his brothers. His eyes. Dylan's eyes contained of too much fun while Tanners were similar to Dylan's, just more matured. But then Alex's eyes showed loyalty and just how reserved yet fun he was.

"So Evelyn do you even know who you are meeting today?" Alex asked as he laid back down on his bed.
"Girls." I said flatly as Alex smiled crookedly.
"Do you know their names?" Alex asked as he faced me once more. I shook my head gently as I rolled back onto my back.
"Well you will be meeting Georgie Heffly, Reenie Wilson, Riley Carts, Kendal Rogers, and then Ryan Tempmore." Alex said as he clasped his hands in front of him.
"A dude is going?" I asked as I sat up on my elbows.
"Sort of." Alex said through a laugh.

"Now child, go and clean your face or whatever girls do." Alex said as he hopped off his bed. I got up also, but I immediately crossed my arms over my chest.

"Alex I already washed my face." I said sternly as I tried to keep from laughing. Alex tutted three times and walked over to his dresser. He went to a bottom drawer and pulled out a circular container. He gingerly opened up the container and stuck his hand in it. Some sort of goo residue was on his hand, and I immediately backed away.

"Alex no." I said as I stumbled back.
"Haha. Yes Evelyn. Yes." Alex said as he took a few steps forward. The goo on his hand looked like a sort of hair gel, and it did not look like it would come off easy.

"Alex please don't." I whined as I tripped over one of his bed legs.
"Shit." I mumbled as Alex caught me with his clean hand. He smiled widely as his large hand wiped across my cheek. Alex chuckled and righted me.

"You suck Alex." I shouted quietly as I wiped my face with the back of my hand.
"Now Evelyn, go wash your face." Alex said as he pointed towards a door near his desk.
"How bout no." I said as I tried to wipe the hair gel off of me, but sadly the damn thing was like glue.
