I have been in Florida this entire week so don't shoot me.

Everyone was now in the pool besides Ryan. She seemed content at just sitting there in her reclining chair drinking her cold beer while everyone else was splashed and swam in the silky bubbles.

Kevin and Bryce were sending some sort of telepathic signals to each other because they nodded simultaneously five times. Six now. It was actually quite scary for those watching, two really big dudes who could probably kill a man if they wanted, formulating a plan. Not the best thing to do when there is water near you.

They finally got out, Kevin first Bryce only a step behind, and they walked soundlessly over towards Ryan. She seemed fixated on the book she was reading so she saw none of it.

Just keep reading the boys eyes read. Just keep reading.

Soon they were on either side of her beach chair. She must have noticed the abrupt shade, and as soon as she put down her book, The Tale of Two Cities, Kevin and Bryce both grabbed one of her arms and legs.

"Damn it put me down!" She screamed as she flailed in their iron grip. Kevin's face seemed strained slightly as he carried Ryan closer to the pool's edge.
"Damn girl lay off the fries." Kevin grumbled as they shuffled closer towards the pool's edge. Ryan's dark blue eyes widened at the sight of the bubbly mess underneath her.

She could barely manage a simple "fuck you" before the two boys threw her in the soapy suds.

Kevin branded his devilish smile and Bryce even took a bow. Ryan emerged from the water with a frown on her face.
"These were new basketball shorts." Ryan grumbled as she clenched her jaw and looked expectantly at the two boys looming over her. Kevin put on a pouty face and then smiled at her.
"I'll buy you a new pair okay?" He said in a teasing voice as Ryan swam towards Kevin.
"Okay." She said as she reached up and yanked on Kevin's ankle.

He fell in the pool thankfully and sent waves rippling towards Alex and I. Everyone laughed and then a door slammed. Besides the door was Dylan and he was panting.
"Anika said waffles were included. I ran here from Tyler's." Dylan huffed as he put his hands on his knees. Anika's featured paled measurably as he stared at her with a cocky grin.
"Now Miss. Reed, where are my esteemed waffles?"

I had stayed in the shallow end with Alex who felt the need to kept his hands on me in some way every second. It started on my waist, then he would grab my wrist, and soon I just felt the need to cling to him to make him stop.

His gray eyes were the color of soft wool today and they set off his dark locks. It was nice seeing him in a bathing suit and not have any other girls check him out. Most of his friends had their eyes set on one another; Kendal was admiring Sean as he looked her up and down every now and then, Ryan and Kevin were play fighting as they splashed the suds around, Anika was trying to look at a shirtless Dylan without him knowing, Renee and Adam had one inside for a drink and had been gone for about thirty minutes now, and then even Reenie was flirting with Logan as he flexed his muscles at her. Georgie seemed to be the only one content with herself, no doubt planing world domination.

"Evelyn do you need something to drink?" Alex asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I smiled brightly at him and went to kiss his nose but he moved his head upward so I crashed into his lips instead. He tasted fresh, and rather soapy but I still kept my mouth on his for a few moments longer. I finally turned away, blushing at the audience we were having.

"Get a room you two." Dylan said as he looked away disgusted. Anika laughed silently and she turned away to talk to Georgie. Dylan looked at her in admiration and sadness, and then he swam off to talk to James.
