"This all ladies?" The store clerk asked.

"I think so." Kendal said as she took a plaid wallet out of her blue Italian leather Dooney & Bourke bag.

"This should do." Kendal hummed as she took out an a hundred dollar bill.

"Jeez you know how to shop." I said as we strutted out of Victoria Secrets.

"Well no, it just so happened that my mom was away in Brazil, so she gave me a higher allowance. But if I were shopping without paying for everyone I would use my work money." Kendal said as she slid her wallet back into her bag.

"You work?" I asked as we rounded the corner and made our way towards Pac Sun.

"Oh ya. I work at American Eagle. I like the feeling of getting my own money." Kendal said as she took a piece of gum out of her purse.

"I'm guessing you all work?" I asked as Kendal handed me a piece of mint gum.

"Oh yes. You see when we were 14? Ya 14 we all decided to get jobs some where in this mall, so I got a job at Delia*s." Riley said as she spun on her shoe.

"Then I got a job at Pink." Georgie said as she smiled my direction.

No wonder why she took me to Victoria Secrets first.

"I of course work at Dick's." Ryan said as she twirled her braided leather bracelet.

"I also happen to work part time at Starbucks, but I also work at Aeropostale." Reenie said as she tied her blonde hair back into a braid.

"Coolio. The only job I've ever had was at Hot Rags and then at Hot Topic." I said as we neared Pac Sun.

"You like the hot stores I guess." Reenie said as she pushed through the glass doors.

The air conditioning hit me like a wave of water, instantly cooling my warm skin. Before I could take in the stores wonder, Riley pulled me towards a rack.

"Oh my god this skirt would look adorable on you!" Riley screeched as she held up a navy skater skirt.

"I actually really like this." I said as I slung it over my arm.

"Ooo and this." Riley said as she added a white and blue striped crop top to my pile.

"Don't go crazy here." I said as I started looking through the rack.

"You have never seen me shop." Riley said as her large hazel eyes grew a few sizes larger.

"Guys! None of these are my size. They haven't gotten their fall collection yet, so I am going to go to Hot Topic okay?" Reenie said as she slung her black studded bag over her shoulder.
