Hey:)

Before my eyes was a sight I have never wanted to see in my life.

There she was, cheer uniform and all, eating away at Alex's face.

"Madison looks cozy." I growled through gritted teeth.

"Told you she didn't like you." Avery said as she glared in their direction. My face flushed as my eyes blurred slightly.

"She disgusts me." I mumbled as I blinked rapidly.

Why would I cry over her kissing Alex?

I mean he wasn't mine or anything.

Was he?

"I think she disgusts us all, even Alex. Watch." Avery said as a her grimace was replaced by a grin. My vision slightly cleared as my eyes focused in on the scene forming on the football field.

Alex's arm muscles flexed as he gripped Madison's shoulders. He pushed back using a great amount of force until her lips retracted from his own. Alex's gray eyes turned stormy as he threw his hands up in an enraged gesture.

I could tell he must have been pretty mad, I could hear his voice from a few meters away.

"What the hell is your problem Madison!" Alex yelled as he clenched his jaw. Madison just stood there in her tiny navy blue and gold cheer uniform twisting a strand of her glimmering hair around her finger.

She giggled, like a laugh from one of those bad 70's movies, and kept twirling her hair.

"I dunno, maybe you could help me find out what is?" She said as she smiled brightly up at him.

"Outta your fucking mind." I could hear Alex say as he locked his fingers behind his neck.

"Maybe I am, but at least I don't just bring a random girl to school and athen think she's the coolest trip." Madison spat. Her brown eyes shone with hatred and envy, but it made me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Not Madison's hate for me obviously, but the look that Alex was giving her. That's what made me feel like a patch of butterflies was in my stomach. His clenched fists were so tight his knuckles were turning a bright white, almost the same color as Madison's teeth. So pretty white. His jaw was also clenched tightly so part of his angular face jutted out, but the best part was his eyes.

They were as stormy as a hurricane, but damn did they burn through me. He was glaring with such ferocity that I could literally see Madison freeze and have goosebumps rise all over her bare skin.

"Alex bab-" Before Madison could finish her sentence Alex interrupted.

"If you mess with her, ever, I will hurt you in the worst possible ways." Alex's threat made her go silent. Madison pursed her full lips and then sauntered away, her nose still stuck in the air.

I finally let out my breath, even though I hadn't known I had been holding it.

"As you can see, Alex doesn't like Madison very much." Avery stated as she pushed her light hair behind her ear.

"I see." I said as my pulse started going normal once again.

"So, how upset were you when you saw she was getting more action than you?" Avery asked as she wiggled her eyebrows at me. I laughed and shoved her over, and then thought of her question in my head.

How did I feel about Madison kissing Alex?

Was it bad I imagined myself in her place?
