Chapter 10 - Things We Lost

Brooklyn's POV

"G-Girlfriend?" I stuttered letting go of him.

"Yeah, her name's Ashley" (So yeah, here's #Mashley for those who wanted it C:)

"Oh..." I said remembering the name in a few of his videos.

"I-I didn't know you'd be back since it was over a year since I had seen you!"

I nod. "It's funny that I came back thinking everything would turn back to normal, why would I think that?" I said and sighed.

I began to walk away towards his bedroom door.

"You know, I've never had a night where there would be no dream about us, maybe it will change."

"Brooke..."

I couldn't stay in that room anymore, I walked down the hallway and Adam saw me.

"Brooke I'm s-" he started to say.

"I don't need your sympathy Adam. I'm fine." I said the biggest lie a girl could say.

"Okay geez. Allison wants to stay for a while, to meet everyone."

"Tell her I'm leaving, I can't be in here anymore."

I run out the house, I could feel my tears streaming on my face.

I wasn't fine.

I get into my car and drive away to my apartment.

Once I reach my apartment I run to my room. I got bored just laying there so, I went on YouTube.

Everyone was commenting about Ashley on my channel. I found myself not getting sad, but angry.

And I wanted to tell Mitch how I felt.

And the only way I thought of doing it, was singing.

I knew he'd listen if I sung, because I listened when he sung.

I knew the perfect song.

I sang it and ended the video and it began to publish.

"What title?" I asked myself.

I typed "To Him" and hoped Mitch would see it.

Mitch's POV

"What's wrong babe?" Ashley asked me.

"Nothing, I'm fine I swear."

"Okay, well I better get back to my place. It's getting late and I still need to upload videos." She kisses my cheek and leaves.

I pull up YouTube, and a video catches my eye

"To Him" It read. I pulled up the video to see Brooke's face.

"Hey guys, so this is dedicated to someone, him."

I sit back in ny seat as Brooke begins to sing.
