Fallen Demon

Chapter 7: Lavana

            I stared at her with uncontrolled fury. Glowing light blue eyes were focused on me as blonde hair flared around her. My halo was gripped in her hands. I could see silver stain the brilliant gold. I could see the lies hiding underneath the angelic look she gave off.

I felt my powers shake with my fury. I gripped the whip that had formed in my hand as I let out a battle cry. My powers surged out of me shattering the seal placed around us. It didn't take long for the marble ground to crumble beneath us. I lashed out my whip with a scream, destroying the space separating the demons and angels. Shields rose in an instant. The ones who were too slow went flying from the pure force I sent out.

"Give it back!" I snarled at Diana as flung my whip back, "Give me back what's mine!!"

I lashed out to slam her against the marble seats the demons sat it. The demons were quick to move as the marble began to crack under her. I didn't waste any time as I surged forward with red blurring my vision.

"It's mine!!"

Diana winced as she tried to pick herself up. I could see silver surrounding her but I didn't care. I raised my whip and went to hit her down further but she managed to move just in time. Diana had flung herself out of the way as I destroyed the stunning marble.

I could see her shaking with fear. She must have thought this power would have been hers. I scoffed at the thought. She would have never been as strong as me.

"Lavana," Diana's voice was wavering as she took in the rising power that continued as my emotions began to lose control, "I'll never give you anything that mine."

Everything snapped in me as I lifted my whip again and again. I could hear the angels and demons scream in horror as I turned everything into rubble. Dread filled Diana's eyes as flames erupted from my hand. I felt it spread down my whip as voice screamed at me to stop. Diana kept moving as fast as she could but when her eyes caught on the flames morphing into a demon of its own she was frozen in place.

I was not going to waste this chance.
