Selena walked down the halls of the Auradon school dorms, on her way to see Mal. For the past few days Mal has been under a lot of pressure and Ben was not understanding it at all. Selena was the daughter the Snow White and being the daughter of the fairest of them all, she had high expectations she had to follow.
Selena was different from the other princesses. She thrived for adventure and fun, and Auradon didn't give her that gratification. Everything about her was different, from her looks to the way, to she acts. Just like Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos, she wore leather. Her style was sexy, but fierce. Sure she got weird looks from the others, but she didn't care.
She strutted down the halls, making her way towards Mal's and Evie's room as planned, but then it went side tracked. She stopped walking when she saw Mal, in her leather purple clothing, tears running down her face. The past six months, Selena watched Mal change and not in a good way.
She watched Mal walk quickly down the halls, towards the exit. Selena followed on instinct, watching Mal grabbed her new motor bike Ben got her. Selena did have a motor bike, but hers was red instead of purple like Mal's. She watched as Mal raced off and that made her follow, curiously getting the best of her.
She jumped on her bike and started its engine, racing after Mal. They raced down the roads and as they did that, Mal caught her. Mal stopped her bike immediately and pulled over quickly. Selena sighed and did as well, pulling over and parking right behind Mal. She got off her bike and took of her helmet, walking over to Mal who got off her bike quickly.
"What are you doing??" Mal asked Selena frantically.
Selena rose a brow and crossed her arms over chest, "I could ask you the same thing."
Mal rolled her eyes and huffed, but Selena gave her a look, "Now what are you doing ?"
Mal put on an innocent poker face and Selena didn't by it for a second. Selena also noticed her eyes red and puffy, making her her frown. Mal shook her head quickly and placed her hands on her hips, trying to play cool.
"N-Nothin' just going for a drive."
Selena rolled her eyes that time and placed her hands on her hips, "Ok now tell me the truth."
Mal groaned and stomped her foot, almost acting like a five year old. Selena stood there, waiting for her answer. Mal shook her head as she sighed,
"I don't belong here Selena..." She said sadly.
Selena looked at her confused, "What do you-"
Mal raised her hand, "I'm a fake. Everything I do, I do through magic. I don't belong here on Auradon. I can't be the picture perfect girl everyone expects me to be."
Selena smiled sadly, "Welcome to my world."
Mal looked at her confused, but she shook her head and sighed. She raised her arms, "I don't belong here... So..." She dropped her arms to her sides, "I am going back to the Isle of the Lost."
Selena's eyes widened and grabbed Mal's arm as she was about to walk away. Mal looked at Selena, ready to fight if she had to, and she did not want it to come to that. Selena looked into Mal's eyes and saw that she was serious. Selena frowned and let go of Mal's arm, walking over to her bike.
"Well let's get going. Gotta hurry before it gets dark."
Mal nodded, "Right-" But then she froze, "Wait what?"
Mal shook her head quickly and walked up to Selena, placing her hands on Selena's. Selena knew what was coming and she could be just as stubborn as Mal.
"You are not going! Isle of the Lost is so much more different than Auradon. One wrong move and you could get into serious trouble there." Mal sighed, "You are not going Selena, I am sorry, but-"
Selena sighed in irritation, "Funny that you think that way. I'm going, wether you like it or not." Selena didn't budge and waited for Mal.
Mal gave Selena a glare, but she wasn't mad, more on the irritated side. Mal sighed and shook her head slowly, not believing this was happening. After a few moments, she looked back at Selena, pointing a finger at her.
"You stay by my side at all times. If anything happens, you call me." Mal said sternly and walked away, putting on her helmet and getting on her bike.
Selena smirked and got on her bike, putting on her helmet. She started her engine just as Mal did and soon raced off, right behind Mal's side. She smirked under her helmet, excited to go to Isle of the Lost. They made it the waters and pulled to a stop. Selena pulled up next to Mal and took off her helmet, watching Mal take out her spell book.
Selena smirked as Mal said a spell and could feel her bike jolt a little. She smiled and put her helmet back on, looking back at Mal, waiting for her signal.
"Let's hope this works." Mal said aloud, making Selena nod in agreement.
Mal revved her engine and so did Selena. Mal immediately raced towards the water, Selena right behind her. Selena smirked as the spell worked and both of them rode their bikes across the water, towards the Isle of the Lost.
She watched Mal looked back at Auradon, but quickly looked forward again. Selena didn't look back, because this was her moment. Her moment to just be free and cause chaos without getting in trouble. They passed the barrier, making Selena gasp, feeling her whole body tingle. It wore of soon and they were now off the waters, riding through a small market.
Mal came to stop and so did she. Selena looked around, smirking as some of the people gave her looks. She looked over and saw a poster of Mal and Ben, but Mal's face was crossed out. Selene smirked more as Mal grabbed the poster, crumpling it into a ball and throwing it on the ground.
Mal started her bike and again, making Selena follow suit, following her out of the market place and down a alleyway. Mal parked her bike in a corner and Selena parked right next to her. Mal got off her bike and smirked, gesturing Selena to follow her.
Selena walked Mal pick up a rock and throw it at a sign. A door slid upwards, presenting a staircase. Selena looked at Mal, who smirked at her. Selena returned the smirk and followed Mal up the stairs, towards an apartment.
