From the pounding head, vomit like taste in her mouth as well as feeling dehydration, she figures she must have been drinking heavily last night. Her dry throat feels like sandpaper. She is still wearing the same outfit from last night. It hurts to move but she manages to reach for her phone by the bedside table. Squinting her eyes, she groans as she realises she's late...again. She also receives a text from Amy last night, it says that she will be staying over at her parents home and will be back tomorrow. Although she feels immense pain all over her body, she forces herself to get up and head towards the bathroom. She splashes cold water all over her face a couple of times to try wake herself up. When she looks into the mirror, she frowns. She slowly moves her sticky chestnut brown hair away from her numb face and leans in closer. A dried patch of crimson red fills the right side of her face. Confused, she looks down at her blouse and gasps. The pretty blouse that was once cream is no longer an appealing shade. Colour drains from her face as she looks at her reflection. What happened last night?
She takes off her clothes with her trembling fingers and gets into the shower. She can't remember a single thing but she hopes the water will remove whatever it is all over her body.
