As she is walking down, she notices a black car following her. When she stops, the car stops. When she walks, it follows. Maya's heart begins to beat. She walks faster and the car is just speeding up. So she decides to run. She runs until the car is nowhere in sight. She decides to go to the café. She feels nervous as she opens the door and walks in. She does get a couple of odd stares but that doesn't bother her.

"Hey...." Zack says across the counter.

Zack is a young boy who only works on the weekend as he has school on the weekdays.

"It feels weird being served." She says.

Zack looks at her awkwardly.

"Anyway I would like a caramel frappe please."

She sits down with her frappe. She is aware of the looks she is getting from other customers. She puts her hood over hear head but as she is doing this, Jamie walks out. He is surprised to see her. He gives her a small smile and disappears.

She hasn't forgotten about the purple diary and the missing pages. But there is nothing she can do about it. For all she knows, the pages that were torn don't even exist anymore. She is in her own little bubble when someone sits down in front of her. That's when she comes back to reality.

"Remember me?"

"The black eyed boy." She doesn't realise she says it out loud.

He raises his right brow. "So that's what you know me as."

She remembers what happened at the station before she was about to walk away.

"Who are you?" She asks.

He sits up straight. "My name is Sebastian. Sebastian Jones."

Maya's eye widen and she also sits up straight.

"What do you want?"

"I'm Ciara's brother and I want to know what happened to her."

Maya feels very uneasy. "You won't get the answers from me."

"Not just yet, but I will."

"Why are you so calm? Everyone thinks I did it. Look around you." It was true. Some people had left the café as soon as she entered. Some people were busy taking pictures and some were glued to their seats occasionally looking up at her.

"I know you didn't do it."

Those words surprise Maya.

"She spoke about you. She told me there was this girl called Maya and how she wanted to tell her something. But she didn't know how. Something about how she didn't want to hurt your feelings because you seemed like a nice person."

Maya didn't know how to respond. Hearing that makes her feel a little sad.

"I didn't have a good bond with my sister. A few days before she... well before what happened, she rang me. She apologised and said that she wanted to start over. I forgave her."

"What did she do?" Maya asks. Sebastian looks up at her.

"I mean you don't have to tell me if you don't want to." She says.

"She knew about my father's affair with one of his student and she kept it a secret for a very long time. She said her reason for keeping it a secret that long was because she didn't want a broken family. Look where that got us."

"I'm sorry for your loss." Maya touches his arm but quickly moves her hand away.

"I just want to know what happened."
He says.

"You better come to the station with us right now Anderson." Maya turns around. James was standing there with his hands on his hips. She wasn't wrong about seeing those blue walls again.
