(A/N: instead of me creating your brother's name for the rest of the story, I decided to let you guys do it, so (B/N) will stand for brother's name! Enjoy the rest of the story!)

By the time dawn came around, Keith had flown you all to a cabin in the middle of the desert.

You and Lance were able to maneuver Shiro inside, laying him on a sofa to rest until he woke.

"So, I guess now's the time we finally find out each other's names?" Pidge stated, putting his backpack next to the sofa.

"Now would be as good a time as ever, before Shiro wakes up," you glanced at Shiro with sorrowful eyes.

"Well, I'm Hunk, hello" Hunk grinned, his voice was chipper and kind. Keith didn't look too impressed.

"I'm Pidge, I'm kinda the brains of our little operation. I'm like a mini Einstein, not that I like to brag," Pidge said contently, while adjusting the oversized glasses.

You all peeked over at Lance. His arms were crossed and his shoulders were slumped. You nudged his arm.

"Aren't you going to introduce yourself?" You peered over.

"I already did that when I was busy saving Shiro," Lance exasperated. You face palmed at the sentence.

"Well, that just leaves me. I'm (Y/N) (L/N)," you had your hands in your short pockets and held a smirk across your face.

"Wait, (L/N), as in (B/N) (L/N)?" You heard a voice behind you ask. You turned around to see Shiro sitting up, holding his head.

"Shiro, you're awake," you heard Keith respond. You walked up to him and felt his head.

"Are you doing okay, feeling good?" You gave him a caring grin that stretched from ear-to-ear.

"Are you really (B/N) (L/N)'s sister? He spoke to much about you, nice to match a face with the name," Shiro frowned, he softly grabbed your forearm and gave you a gentle smile. "I'm sorry," he said before letting go of your arm.

"Sorry for what?" Pidge interrogated.

You were playing with the necklace you had hooked to your neck. It had a silver chain that connected to a white gem. It had been your prized possession ever since your brother passed away. It was the last thing he'd given you before he died.

"It's nothing, don't worry about it," you rubbed your arm and looked at the ground.

"Anyway, I'm going to go get some fresh air," Shiro said, before standing up.

"I'll come too," you joined in. The corner of his lips curled up before he held the door open for you. You both headed outside. You decided to stand on top of a sand hill, and stare off into the infinite sand. You came behind Shiro and placed your palm on his shoulder.

"It's nice to have you back," you sighed with relief.

"It's good to be back," he had a sad look in his eyes as he stared off into the distance.

"What happened up there, where were you?"

"I wish I could tell you, heck, I wish I could tell you all, but it was all just a blur. I remember an alien space ship, and I remember escaping it, other than that, my mind's pretty scrambled," his voice was flat and emotionless. "I remember everything before it though."

"Like what?"

"Like friends, work, missions, (B/N)," he looked at you. "He talked highly of you, he was a great pilot, and friend."

"He was an even better brother," you kept a straight face, trying not to let your emotions get the better of you.

"I'm sorry," Shiro repeated.

"Why do you keep saying that, it's not like you're the one the killed him," you blurted out, you quickly cupped your mouth. "Oh my God, I am so sorry, I wasn't thinking I just said it and-" you were cut off by Shiro's embrace.

"I say sorry, because he was your brother. I say sorry, because he was one of my closest friends. I say sorry because he was like family. If it gets repetitive, sorry, but, you were his sister, and he was my best friend, so your instantly someone I feel tied to. Even if it's a simple, I'm sorry, I will do whatever it takes to make sure you feel cared for, in the same way (B/N) did for me."

You shared his embrace, grasping his vest in an attempt to hold back the tears. You stepped back so you could see his face.

"Thank you," you smiled.

"No, thank you, for letting me say all that," he patted your shoulder. You then heard a door swing open. You cocked your heads to see Keith walking towards you both. Once he stepped forward, Shiro patted Keith's back.

"Now, I need to thank the two of you for saving me, " his teeth shone bright.

"I mean, it's all on Keith, he was the one who was there first," the ends of your lips rose as you looked over at the man, who now had blush spreading under his eyes and across his nose. "Also, instead of thanking me, you should be thanking Lance, he's the one who dragged me out of my dorm to where we found you in the first place. But, then again, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be standing in front of you both in my pajamas," you sneered. You managed to get both of the men to laugh.

"How were you able to save me anyway?" he turned to Keith.

"Well, you should both follow me," he suggested. You and Shiro followed Keith back to the cabin. You walked in to see the rest of your crew chatting away. He walked up to a large board with a sheet of some sort covering it. He pulled the covering off and revealed pictures pinned to the bulletin board.

"What is all this?" you curiosity was peeked.

"I can't exactly say for sure, ever since I was booted from the Garrison, I was lost, until there was some sort of force telling me to look, and explore. Some sort of energy you could say."

"What were you looking for?" you asked.

"I wasn't exactly sure, until I stumbled across the area," he pointed to a large map that covered a vast amount of the board. "I found a large area of caves and boulders, each held their own graphic images and each told their own stories," he paused and unpinned a picture, to reveal one underneath.

"Each telling a story of a blue lion."
