(A/N: Before the chapter starts, as you read before, the reader visions Voltron, and sees the chest of Voltron is lavender, she also had a purple gem on her necklace, I decided to switch these and change it to white. So now the chest of Voltron is white, along with the gem on the reader's necklace, hope you enjoy the chapter!)

"Zarkon's still alive, that's impossible!" Allura exclaimed, her brows furrowed.

"I wish I could explain it to you, but I can't. He's looking for some sort of weapon called Voltron," Shiro emphasized.

"That's because he knows that's the only thing that can destroy him!" She yelled.

"We've heard this thing called Voltron about a million times, and we've seen it, but what exactly is it," you ask as you cross your arms.

"It's the most powerful thing in the entire universe, if put in the wrong hands, the world as we know it, could come to an end," you noticed her look behind at Coran, who was staring at the ground.

"Well, we'll do whatever we can to help," Shiro gave a warm smile towards the woman.

"Thank you, thank you all," she smiled at you, but you could tell it was forced. She continued working at the control panel as you all huddled around her, watching her work. None of you knew what to say as you stood, you exchanged glances every once in a while, but all that could be heard was the sound of each other's breathing. Coran slowly came behind Allura.

"Princess, it's been ten thousand years, you need to eat," he consoled, as he gently placed his hand on her shoulder. She shook her head slightly to refuse. She mumbled her sentence so you couldn't really make out what she was saying.

"Wow, ten thousand years, that's like one thousand plus ten," Lance whispered.

"It's actually times ten," Keith corrected.

"Whatever, dropout," Lance snarked.

"It's absolutely incredible that your entire civilization was able to make all of this ten thousand years ago," you gawked as you walked around the room. "Altea must have been pretty incredible."

"It was, it was absolutely gorgeous," Coran looked wounded, looking at Allura grievingly. "Now we're the last ones," he slowly walked up the woman, who's shoulders were slumped, head hanging low. She quickly joined him within a quiet embrace as you all watched. You were silent for a bit before you heard a quiet squeak. Allura's head jolted up as she sped towards the sound, being the curious person you are, followed behind her. You turned to see four mice tightly snug together.

"Looks like we're not the only ones," Allura gave a genuine smile at the creatures, who looked at her with chubby cheeks. You smiled at the creatures before a loud alarm rang throughout the castle.

"What is that?" You asked as you winced at the sound.

"A galra cruiser has tracked the castle," Coran blubbered as he quickly walked out to the panel. It revealed a picture of galra ship, much like the one you'd encountered before.

"How were they able to find us so quickly?" Allura croaked

"Whatever happened, I'm sure it was Keith's fault," Lance barked as he gave Keith a dirty look

"Well I think we should be blaming the person who got us stuck on the other side of the wormhole!" Keith remarked.

"I'll stick you in a wormhole!" Lance retaliated as he got close to Keith's face.

"Guys, can you stop fighting for a second!" You alerted. They soon stopped after they heard your booming voice.

"(Y/N)'s right," Shiro agreed as he placed his hand on your shoulder. "Coran, how long should it be until the galra arrive?"

"By my calculations, it should take a few days," he answered after he had finished counting on his fingers.

"Good, let them come," Allura eagerly alerted. "By the time they come, you will have taken all five lions and reformed them into Voltron, defeating Zarkon, and allowing peace to the rest of the universe."

"Now, I've never been good at math, but there are six of us, and only five lions, how is that supposed to work in our favor?" You asked as you gestured to your team.

"We'll just work it out as we go, now follow me," Allura reassurred as she headed out of the room. You are led to what looked like the main room of the castle. It had the large window in front which revealed the millions of stars ahead of you. In front of you was a circular shape in the middle of the room that was occupied by two white pedastles on either side, and a control panel that laid in the front of the window.

"So, where are we actually supposed to find said lions?" Hunk asked as he peaked his head into the room.

"Well, that's where I come in," Allura smirked as she headed to the circle in the middle of the floor. As she stepped in, placing her hands on the pedastles, the entire room filled with holographic numbers and panels that were able to be controlled by the princess.

"Woah," you all repeated in unison.

"These look like coordinates," Pidge stated as he tried to poke one of the numbers.

"That's because they are, each of these coordinates will help us in finding each individual lion," she twirled her finger, turning the holographs like a globe.

You all lined up side by side to admire all the new gadgets she had laid in front of you. You then noticed a holographic black lion.

"You don't choose your lions, they choose you, your quintessence allow the lions to personally choose you as their paladin," Allura explained.

"The black lion is a natural born leader. They have the natural aura and trust to gain followers and respect. Shiro, you will pilot the black lion," a holograph of the lion positioned itself in front of Shiro, you could see the sparkle in his eyes.

"The green lion is daring, and a natural risk taker. This lion holds the paladin that has natural intellect. Pidge, you will pilot the green lion." And again, the holograph placed itself in front of Pidge.

"The yellow lion is caring, and kind to others. It's paladin puts others before their own personal needs. Hunk, you will pilot the yellow lion." You chuckled at the shocked look he gained.

"The blue lion is--"

"Extremely charming with devishly good looks," Lance grinned as he stroked his chin. You would hear the exasperated sighs throughout the room.

"The red lion is the most temperamental and very hard to earn the trust of. It's the hardest to control because of its speed, and is the most unstable. Keith, you will control the red lion." Although it was barely visible, you could see the slight grin forming on his face, it caused you to smile.

"The five of you together will form Voltron, the defender of the universe," the holographs soon combined into the large robotic being you'd seen in your vision earlier.

"So I'm assuming I'm the odd one out," you chuckled, seeing as you weren't assigned any lion.

"I'm sorry," you heard Keith whisper next to you as he looked at you with puppy-dog eyes.

"I'm sorry, (Y/N), it seems tha--" Allura cut herself off and stared at the coordinates in amazement. "Co-Coran, look at this," Allura called, the ginger man running along. He hovered over the woman's shoulder, his eyes looking like they were going to pop out of his skull.

"T-this can't be possible," Coran managed to choke out.

"But it is, I thought my father hid it!" Allura let out a gasp before covering her mouth in astonishment.

"What is it, what's happening, am I getting a lion after all?" You asked confused, everyone sharing the same look as you.

"No, this is so much more! My father hid this away from civilization because of its level of intellect and power!" She came to you and held a firm grasp of your shoulders.

"(Y/N), you hold more potential than what meets the eye, you, my dear, are the white lion."
