You all stared at the giant ship, gasping at the sight of it.
"Is that the alien ship the lion was warning us about?" you croaked. Lance moved around to the side of the ship to get a better view.
"They found me," you heard Shiro whisper next to you. You continued to stare at the ship before it started to rapidly shoot out purple lasers.
"We have to get out of here before we're burnt to a crisp!" Pidge exclaimed in Lance's ear.
"I got it!" Lance confirmed. He threw the handles of the ship forward, helping the lion to dodge the oncoming beams. Hunk and Pidge began screaming as the feline did tumbles and twists to maneuver away from the lasers. "I think I'll be able to do this!" he replied determined.
"Be careful, this isn't a simulation!" You shouted.
"Good, I always wreck the simulation," Lance recalled, he clearly couldn't tell that you already knew he messes up simulations. He thrusted the handles forward, causing the lions mouth to blast out a blue laser that seemed to stretch infinitely. It sliced an incision on the side of the ship, creating explosions as it went. "Let's try some of this!" Lance jerked the handles back against the sides of his chair, lunging his lion to the side of the ship. The claws latched to the side of the ship, running along the side, fire spreading from behind. Lance was able to fly you guys away from the alien ship.
"We did it!" Hunk exclaimed, high-fiving Pidge excitedly.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that," you replied hastily. You were able to see the ship roaming behind you, but you were curious as to why it wasn't shooting. "That's weird, it's following, but it isn't shooting?" you acknowledged perplexedly.
"Okay, I never thought aliens following us were good, so I think we should change our course of route," Hunk had highly recommended.
"Where are we, anyway?" Keith queried.
"We're laying at the edge of the solar system, there's Kerberos," Shiro proclaimed as you looked out the front view, seeing a light grey planet to your right.
"It took us a matter of minutes to get out here, while it takes Garrison a matter of months," you heard Pidge recall, amazed. Suddenly, a large purple and black glowing hole appeared in front of you. It had a light blue outer rim, decorated with a pattern of separate designs.
"What is that?" Hunk asked.
"I don't know, but I think my lion's hinting that it's wanting me to go through it," Lance sounded puzzled, not sure whether to listen to the lion's suggestion.
"Where would it lead us to?" Pidge implored.
"I'm not completely sure, Shiro, you're the senior officer here, what should we do now?" Lance looked behind his shoulder to see a conflicted man.
"It seems like the lion knows more than we do at the moment. I vote we trust it, but we've become a team, so we have to vote together," he decided. You all looked at each other, not a word was spoken between the group. You silently decided to follow the lead of the feline machine. You slowly placed your hand on Lance's shoulder as a gentle confirmation. He looked at you, giving a loving smile, before grasping the handles slowly.
"Guess we're skipping class tomorrow," Lance strongly proclaimed, lunging the lion towards the black hole.
The moment you flew in, your entire body shook. All you were able to do was groan as you sunk your nails into the chair. You were only able to release your grasp after exiting the burrow.
"Where are we?" you cautioned as you looked out into the infinite space in front of you.
"I don't recognize any of the constellations, we must be far away from Earth," his tone was serious, it instantly caused you to become worried, what if you were never able to go home again?
"It looks like the lion wants to go to this planet, I feel like it's heading home," Lance chimed, you looked ahead to see the robot heading towards a planet that looked similar to Earth. "Guys I have a personal bubble, and you're popping it," Lance urged, his voice was annoyed which made you chuckle.
"Is anyone else a little nervous about having just going through a mysterious wormhole? Why are we even listening to the robot anyway!" Hunk nagged, he gave Lance an angry look as he stared over his shoulder.
"It got us away from the alien warship, didn't it!" Lance exclaimed, he was trying to defend the lion that had gotten you saved from the previous aliens you'd encountered.
"I don't know if you realized this, or if you're just super naïve, but we are IN an alien warship," Keith bickered back.
"Guys, just knock it off and shut up!" No one's happy we got in this situation, but we got in it now! If we want to get back home, we need to work as one!" you exploded. You were flustered to be in space for the first time, and were annoyed by all the complaining.
"Sorry, (Y/N)," Keith comforted. He placed his hand on your back, causing you to wince at his touch. You felt the end of your lips curl, but didn't let anyone else see it.
"So, what are we supposed to do?" Pidge gave Shiro a concerned look.
"First, we need to know where we're headed. Lance?"
"I'm not sure where we're headed, the lion stopped talking to me. Wait, wait, I think I hear something now," his voice sounded mischievous, but you didn't know why. Before you could say anything, the room began to smell.
"Lance!" you all exclaimed as you clenched your noses.
"Yeah, but seriously there's a castle," he smirked. You all looked ahead to see a magnificent white castle, lined in blue windows with multiple pillars. All you were able to do was stare at its beauty. The lion stopped at its front gate. You all looked at each other, not knowing what do to as you were staring at its entrance.
"Wow," was all you were able to spill out.
