Chapter Four - Passion and Magic
It'd been a whole week since I seen Jeremiah, and it was killing me! I was missing him so much. The last time I seen him, was when we went to the fair. He'd been asking to see me everyday, but I'd been at Ryan's. Sucks!
"You like this one?' Ryan held up another suit.
I nodded. "It looks nice. I like the color."
Me and Ryan had been walking around in the mall for hours, trying to find him a suit for some ball tonight. I was his date, even though I didn't want to go.

Ryan and I were at the ball. Ryan had on a gray suit with a red vest, he looked nice. I had on a long, fitted strapless dress. It showed off all my hips and curves. I had my hair pinned to the side in curls.
"Oh most certainly darling. It's absolutely amazing." the woman said.
Ryan was talking to some business woman. I hated being around stuck up people.
"Are you okay Kristie? You seem a little distant." Ryan said.
"I'm fine." I faked a smile. I felt so uncomfortable.
Ryan kissed me on the forehead.
"I'm going to sit down."
Ryan nodded.
I made my way through the crowd. I went to the bar and sat down.
"Strawberry daiquiri." I told the bartender.
He nodded and came back with a cup full of it. I turned it up.
"You look bored." a male voice said from behind me.
I turned around. Jeremiah stared me dead in the eyes. My whole mood changed. I smiled at him, showing all 32 teeth. I hugged Jeremiah. But then i remembered, Ryan was there, who's probably watching right now.
"So. Let's get out of here. I missed you girl." Jeremiah said.
I smiled. "I can't leave Jeremiah."
"Kristie come on. I've been thinkin' bout you. You don't miss me?'
"Yes I do."
"Well meet me outside in five minutes." Jeremiah whispered in my ear and walked away.
I waited a couple more minutes before I got up. I walked back over to Ryan and a group of his friends.
"Ryan I have to go. Mia has been hurt." I lied.
"Need me to take you?" Ryan asked.
"No. My mom is already outsie."
"Okay." he kissed me. "I love you."
"I love you too."
I walked outside. Jeremiah was standing by the door , waiting for me. He grabbed my hand and led me to a white limo. He opened the door for me. I crawled in and he crawled in behind me.
"My home Tommy." Jeremiah told the driver.
He nodded and took off.
"I missed you boo." Jeremiah kissed my cheek and pulled me closer to him.
