Chapter Seventeen- I need you
Jeremiah's POV
Today is Kristie's 21st birthday. I have to make it special for my baby. I'm planning her a surprise birthday party. She's seven months pregnant, and mean as hell. I never knew I could love someone so much. She's my world.
"Aye ma, y'all got everything under control?" I asked.
"Boy we got this. You just do your part." Tina said through the phone.
"Where Kay at?"
"She went out with her brother and Mia."
"You know she don't need to be doing all that walking."
"She'll be fine Jeremiah. It's just until we get things ready for the party."
"Okay ma. Love you."
"Love you too my baby."
I hung up. I pulled up into the parking lot of Nancy's to pick up the cakes.
Kristie's POV
"Okay, I can not walk around in this mall any longer." I complained.
"We've only been in here a hour." Mia said.
"An hour , too damn long! The twins have enough clothes."
"It's your birthday , act happy." Kendrick said.
I rolled my eyes. "I am happy. I'm just tired."
"Okay, one more store and we're out of here." Mia said.
I sighed. "Okay." Lord, please don't make me cut up in this mall. I took a deep breath and followed behind them .
3 hours later.....
"Where are we going now Kendrick?" I asked.
"I have to stop by this building and pick up something. Then I'm taking you home." Kendrick said as he drove.
Finally.
We pulled up to a big building. Kendrick parked at the door.
"Mia and Kristie , y'all have to come in with me."
"For what?" I snapped.
"Girl, just get out. It's too much happening nowadays." Kendrick said.
I sighed and got out of the car. I followed behind into the building. Kendrick found the light switch and switched it on.
"SUPRISE!!!"
I could've had a heart attack. This is so sweet. All of this for me. I punched Kendrick in the arm. Everyone laughed.
