Chapter Seven - Control Yo ex

"You look very nice." Ryan smiled at me.

"Thanks, so do you." I took another bite of my steak.

Ryan and I were having dinner at O Charley's. It was going okay. I'd rather been with Jeremiah though. He's texted my phone at least 10 times. Ryan was trying to do better. I guess.

"We haven't done this in a while."

  "Yeah. We haven't." I agreed.

Everything was silent. I decided to break the silence with a question.

"Ryan what would you do if I left you?" I asked. I was curious.

Ryan chuckled. "I probably would kill you."

My smile changed. Was he serious? Fucking psycho.

"I'm just kidding. I don't want to lose you. So let's not talk about it."

  I nodded.

For the remaining of the night, we talked and laughed. We even went for a walk in the park. Just like old times. But something just didn't seem right.

"Kristie, I had a nice time." Ryan said as we walked up to my door.

"I did also." I said honestly. Kind of.

"We should do this next week. Call me later." Ryan kissed me.

"I will." I walked inside and shut the door.

Momma was gone, as always. She had to have a man or something.

I kicked off my shoes and sat down on the couch. My phone started to ring in my purse. I took it out and looked at it. Jeremiah. I smiled. Yasss.

"Hello." I answered in a joyful tone.

"Hey Kay." Jeremiah said through the phone. His voice was so sexy and deep.

  "Hey." I blushed.

"Since you're home from your date, let's go  shopping."

I believe Jeremiah stalked me. He knew where I was 24/7.

"Are you stalking me?" I laughed.

  "Maybe. Now open the door."

I hung up. I got up and opened the door. Jeremiah smiled and handed me a bouquet of roses. He was so sweet.

"Thank you so much. They're beautiful." I blushed. " Let me put these in a vase and grab my purse."

   "Leave your purse." he said.

  "But Jeremiah you just-"

Jeremiah cut me off. "No buts. Just get your shoes."

I put the roses in a vase of water and slid back on my gray Nike Air max.

"Can i drive? Please!" I begged. He drove his mustang.

"No Kay. It's too rough for you." Jeremiah said.

  I pouted.

I got on the car and put my seatbelt on. Jeremiah got in.

" Don't look at me like  that." Jeremiah kissed me.
