It was finally lunchtime. Millie and Iris were sitting alone at their usual table. Millie didn't really have a lot of friends, but Iris did. She chose to sit with Millie most of the time because she felt bad for the girl who lost everything. She wanted to make Millie happy. They've been best friends since eighth grade. Millie didn't eat today. She felt too tired not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Iris tried to force her to eat something. "Millie, you have to eat something. Do you want my sandwich?" She offered the short haired brunette.

Millie refused to eat it by shaking her head and putting on a fake smile. "Iris I'm fine. I just wanna sit here quietly and think." She said, propping up her elbow on the lunch table and resting her chin in the palm of her hand. Iris rolled her eyes trying to be patient with Millie, knowing that she's going through a tough time and wondering what she's thinking about. Millie couldn't think though, it was too loud in the lunchroom for her to think. Instead she just looked around the room, observing her surroundings.

She spotted a boy across the room staring back at her. The boy had a camera around his neck. He didn't look away when Millie caught him staring though. He looked dull and almost numb. Like he was lifeless. Millie slowly waved at the boy with light brown hair. He quickly snapped out of his weird trance and looked away from Millie. She put her hand down and furrowed her eyebrows. Iris seemed to notice the whole thing.

She leaned into Millie's ear with a smirk on her glossy lips. "Looks like Noah Schnapp was checking you out." She whispered. Millie looked at Iris with raised eyebrows, shaking her head. "Ma-maybe he was just...looking at someone behind me and I got the wrong idea." Millie quickly said. Iris giggled and playfully hit her best friend's arm. Millie couldn't stand being in the cafeteria right now. She just wanted some peace and quiet, but that seemed to be impossible at the moment.

Millie was tugging at her hair as she rest her head on the lunchroom table. She was going insane with all of these chattering people around her. Loudly laughing and talking to friends around them, it's all they ever do. It all seemed too much for her. She suddenly snapped, popping her head up from the table and looking at Iris. "I'm just gonna go use the restroom." She told her. Iris gave Millie a concerned look as Millie stood up from the table and left the cafeteria.

Millie was standing over the sink in the girls restroom, looking at her tear stained face in the mirror. This was all overwhelming. She felt so small in this moment, like the whole world was under attack and she couldn't do anything. She sniffled at the thought of that. Then, she heard the bathroom door opening. She quickly tried to wipe away her tears so no one would see her crying.

A tall, thin, figure appeared in the corner of her eye. Millie turned her head to see the red head from her history class looking in the mirror next to Millie. She knew Sadie Sink, the school slut. Sadie was really popular with guys. She's slept with almost everyone at the school and in town. She doesn't just sleep with guys her age, Sadie has been with older men also.

Sadie once embarrassed Millie in the girls locker room during gym class. She thought it would be funny to strip her and pin Millie down to the floor to write insults all over her bare skin. She wrote things like whore, fag, ugly, stupid, bitch, junky, fat, cunt, loser, and other bad stuff. Then Sadie ripped up Millie's gym clothes and her normal clothes then threw them away. Everyone took pictures of a half naked Millie sobbing uncontrollably with insults written on her body. Just looking back at the haunting memory gave Millie the chills.

The red head applied cherry red lipstick to her lips and ran her fingers through her vibrant hair. She then pushed her boobs up to make them appear bigger in her white tank top. What a whore, Millie thought. She wasn't usually one to judge, but this girl was very trashy with her short denim shorts. She's breaking the schools dress code, but she always does. The thing is no one cares.

The red head noticed Millie's stare and scrunched her eyebrows at her. Millie instantly looked down into the sink beneath her, hoping Sadie wouldn't say anything. She was wrong. "Like what you see?" The red head asked, popping her chest out towards the brunette. Millie closed her eyes wishing to be alone right now. The blue eyed girl giggled. "I totally knew you were a lesbo." Sadie starts. "You thought no guy would ever want you so you turned to women. Millie, nobody wants you."

She flipped her red hair and smirked with her eyebrow raised. Millie opened her eyes, not looking up at Sadie just yet. "I'm not interested in men or women." She says sheepishly. Sadie crossed her arms and gave Millie an evil glare. Millie was the easiest girl for her to pick on, but she really didn't have anything against her. "You fucking hooker." Sadie whispered in the British girls ear.

Millie felt uncomfortable with Sadie near her. She felt like Sadie was going to rip her throat out and tie her up with it any minute. Sadie was scary.

"Do you cut yourself? I mean, you are wearing long sleeves." The red head states with an evil smile. The only reason why she was wearing long sleeves was because it was cold out being mid February. Millie looked at the girl up and down. "I don't cut myself." Millie mumbled finally looking up at Sadie. Millie wants to yell at her to leave, but knows nothing good would come from that. "You know Iris and I talk shit about you behind your back right?" Sadie pushes, trying to see how long it will take to break the weak girl in front of her.

Millie's eyes widened in disbelief. She doesn't trust a word of the red head, never has, never will. "I've known Iris since kindergarten. She would never say anything bad about me." Millie fights back. Sadie decides to step her game up and grab both of Millie's wrist tightly with an evil grin. "Listen you little piss bucket, you don't know shit about Iris! Just because you thought you two were friends, doesn't mean shit!" She barks. Millie's wrist began to hurt and she could feel bruises forming as worry took over her face.

"I hope you get hit by a bus. In college, there gonna use you like an old, rusty washing machine. You're nothing Millie Brown and I hope you fucking kill yourself tonight." Millie was terrified. She held in sobs as tears streamed down her cheeks and her bottom lip quivered. Sadie was satisfied to see what she wanted. She was a wicked girl. She let go of Millie's wrist and walked of the girls lavatory.

Millie was deeply hurt by Sadie's speech.

Okay, the line "I hope you get hit by a bus" is a replacement for the original line because what I wrote a year ago was VERY um, not offensive (kind of offensive) idk it was just kind of hard.💉
