⚠️TRIGGER WARNING⚠️ talks of suicide

-----------------------

"Thank you again, principal Harbour, for agreeing to meet with me for the second time this week. I've just discovered some new information that I think requires a thorough investigation. What I need from you are two things, maybe one depending on if I get what I need from the first task I give you. I need the names of students who are absent today and then I need to speak with some students who may know Noah Schnapp."

The man behind the desk gave Winona names and she compared the list to yesterday's list. A few names were missing, some had been added, several remained. One of them being Noah Schnapp. Detective Ryder looked through her notes on visiting parents to see if she needed to meet with any students who may know about a couple of other strange disappearances. "Do you know any students who could have spoken to them before they went missing?" "I don't know, Noni. I focus on their education, not their social life." Principal Harbour was only slightly annoyed by the questions and the case. Sure he cared, but not as much as Noni did.

"Come on, I need info. Kids like to discuss things with friends all of the time and I need to speak with some of their friends." The woman with a notepad and pen in her lap demands. David, the principal, wanted nothing more than to help the detective with her case, but he only had so little power. The most he could do was give her names, but that was about it. How was he supposed to get the attention of friends? That's when a sudden idea popped into his head and he called someone who could help. "Hey Richards, its Harbour. Detective Ryder is here with a missing children's case and I need you to get on the PA system and see if you could get all students who personally know...Millie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, and Sadie Sink and have them line up in the gymnasium after school, okay?"

A good handful of students who knew the missing kids all lingered around the big room with a couple faculty members watching them. Two blondes, Iris Apatow and Lilia Buckingham, stood near the door. "Are you here to speak for Sadie or for Millie?" Lilia had asked, crossing her arms and leaning against the wall to watch some boys run around the basketball court and jump up to touch the nets. "Both of course. Their my friends, I just don't know why exactly we have to be here." None of the students were told why they had to meet in the gymnasium. If they had been told during class hours, they wouldn't focus on their work and worry all day. So Winona and David decided to wait until the interrogations to discuss why they were here.

The doors opened and their eyes immediately landed on Iris as she was closest to the door. Detective Ryder asks for her to follow them down the hall and to a room where they had set up for the interrogation. The blonde gladly followed her schools principal and a "cop". David shut the door as Winona asked for Iris to have a seat across from her and a desk with her messy notes on the case all over. Iris sat in the seat and put her backpack on the floor as she spoke with the detective.

"Is someone in trouble here?" Was her very first question. It felt like someone was in trouble. They wanted the friends of the bad kids and the innocent Millie, so surly something isn't right. Winona knew exactly what to say to give the student all the information that she needed to know while also keeping her from getting upset or going crazy. They're just some basic things she learned in school. "Well, we called some students into the gymnasium because a few other students that they may know haven't been seen since Friday after school."

Iris was confused and shocked, but she had a vague understanding of why a few people were called to the gym. However, it was hard for her to believe that Millie was missing. Sadie, it was easy to imagine her disappearing. She always goes on some new adventure with some guy so Iris couldn't see her as missing, just on vacation. She hates to admit it, but she is and was more worried about Millie than Sadie. "So like...they've been kidnapped?" "Kidnapping is a possibility, but let's not jump to any conclusions just yet, okay?" Detective Ryder tries to calm her down with her relaxing voice. She also made a note that Iris doesn't know how they've gone missing.
