It was the next day and only four teenagers remained tied up and alive. The parents of Gaten Matarazzo had wondered where their son was, even panicking. He had been gone for two whole days and their money supply was growing short. They've thought to call police to file a missing persons result, but after the two adults thought about it a second time they decided not to and just to wait it out. It would be too much of a risk to call police. If they called the cops, they would come to their house to search the place thinking it would tell them why the child "ran away" and then they would find cocaine, marijuana, crack, heroine, meth, narcotics, LSD, and all sorts of illegal substances. The parents would get charged with possession of drugs and be sent to prison. So that's why they haven't called the cops.

The mother of the young red head, Sadie Sink, wasn't at all worried about the mysterious disappearance of her daughter. It was very common for Sadie to spend days away from home, usually with older men who agree to take her on vacations to exotic places, but her mother wouldn't know anything of it. She'd assume that her young and fun daughter was just at a friends house or spending a few nights at yet another boy's house. So of course Ms. Sink didn't worry when she didn't see her daughter coming home from school on Friday. It was very normal.

Mr. McLaughlin didn't really care for his son Caleb McLauglin. He always neglected his children and never really paid attention to them. He hadn't even noticed that Caleb was missing, he just thought he snuck into the house after school and stayed locked up in his room like he normally did when he didn't want to get beat up by his father.

As for Noah Schnapp's parents, they were genuinely concerned of their sons whereabouts. He came home from school one afternoon, but when they went to go wake him up for breakfast this morning he had vanished. They called police and asked when they last saw their son, to which his mother had told them that he came home at around four o'clock in the afternoon like he usually does after school and went straight to his room. The police had taken this up with detective Winona Ryder and she saw the case as urgent.

Winona drove over to the Schnapp resistance to question the family and ask more about this strange disappearance. "Do tell me more about your son Noah. Did he have any friends that he was really close with?" The short woman with long black hair had asked as Karine Schnapp sat down across from the detective at the kitchen table. She let out a sigh as she tried to dig through her memory to figure out if her son really did have friends. "He had at least one friend, but it was only for a couple of weeks before they got into a fight and stopped hanging around with each other."

"A fight?" Detective Ryder questioned as she twirled her pen in her hand and furrowed her eyebrows. The mother of the missing boy nodded. "Yes. I'm not sure what they had fought about because Noah never told me about it. He's such a quiet young boy and he was never really good at sharing his thoughts." Karine describes. The older woman nodded before asking a few more important questions that could really help her find this boy. "Do you know what the friends name was or what he looked like perhaps?" Noah's mother nodded before answering the question. "I've met him once. His name is Finn and he's about Noah's age. He's pretty slim and pale, he's a very tall young man too. He also has brown eyes, a rather pointy nose, and short curly hair that is pretty dark."

After getting a good description of Finn and Noah and also questioning Noah's father and his twin sister Chloe, Winona has driven back to the station to do a little bit of research on Noah. She contacted his school to schedule a meeting with the principal on Monday morning, she asked cops to go drive around looking for him, she even got search dogs to sniff a shirt that she had borrowed from his mother to see if they could find him. Winona always took cases like these very seriously and she was quite the ball buster too. If no one was doing their job correctly then she would step in and get them to do it. She really did care about children's cases and their safety, so she wasn't gonna let this go.

After spending an entire day dedicating her time to this case and coming up empty handed, Winona sat down at her desk in her office and looked over her notes from today. She looked them over as she asked herself just where this kid was and why he had ran away with absolutely no trace. This was the strangest cases she had ever worked with and things would only get stranger from here. After spotting a a page of notes with the description of this odd Finn character, Winona decided to do a little more research on him thinking he had something to do with this. Earlier that day, Karine had told detective Ryder that Finn was Noah's only friend from school for one month ago until they got into a fight two weeks later and stopped hanging out.

Winona had called the research department to dig up something about Finn, to which they had told her that it was getting late and most people had already gone home. The lady sitting at her desk gripping her pen had ordered them to stay for only another half hour to see what they could find, but they refused and hung up. Winona slammed the phone down on the receiver before going to google and doing some research herself. It was a little bit difficult as she didn't have the last name of this young teenage boy Finn, but she did her best.

When the woman typed 'Finn' into her search bar, of course a few celebrities with the same name had popped up. But Winona looked deeper and deeper on the internet and actually stumbled across a very interesting article from over ten years ago. 'Young Boy Kills Foster Dad And Young Woman Before Running Away'. It peaked her interest. She clicked on the ten year old article and actually read the first paragraph on the story.

'Blake Young, a thirty-two year old male from right here in Indiana, and Sabrina Downy, a young college student, were found dead in the man's home where him, his wife, two daughters, and foster son live. Mr. Young and Ms. Downy's bodies were found naked with their throats cut open after having an affair. Police had searched the crime scene and found that hair from the killer, an eight year old boy named Finn Wolfhard who was also Mr. Young's foster child, was found in the victims neck wounds, but the child could not be found in the home. The bloody murder weapon was also found on the scene of the crime, but had absolutely no fingerprints on it meaning that the boy might have worn gloves at the time of the attack as Mrs. Young had told detectives that Finn always wore black leather gloves. Police warn residents of Hawkins, Indiana to watch out for this boy and to call police if you do see him.'

Below was an image of a little boy. He was skinny and pail. Black and short curly hair, brown eyes, a pointy nose. Winona couldn't believe her eyes. It was him.

Sorry this is late, I planned to write this last night and then upload it but I had called my girlfriend and then fell asleep as soon as I got off the phone with her so that's my excuse I guess. Let me know what you all think about this chapter, I kind of like it because it just uncovers a few things.💉
