The next day, Winona responded to David's email, the one about taking her out on a date. Even though she didn't like him, she agreed to. In her mind, this was just two adults who don't like each other and were going to have dinner at one of the most expensive restaurants in town. Yes it sounds like a romantic evening, but it won't be, it won't be nice. Neither will her day as she has to speak with Sadie and her mother about what happened after she went missing.

When the detective arrived to the hospital that morning, Sadie sat on the edge of the hospital bed in her clothes while her mother stood by the window looking jittery. "What's going on? Are you being let go from the hospital?" Winona asked Sadie, like she could speak with a hospital mask over her nose and her mouth. "The police are coming back to take her to the prison because she abused and raped a girl from school." Her mother answered for her. Sadie glanced up at the brunette woman in the doorway with a look of anger. She thinks that Noni was the one to turn her in, but she didn't. Detective Ryder didn't even mention the rape when the chief of police asked her for evidence from the carving. She only showed them a few pictures and told that Finn Wolfhard and Millie Brown had done it all to her.

"Sadie, I'm so sorry. Are you looking for a lawyer or..." Winona trailed off as she slowly entered the room and approached Sadie. "That won't be necessary." Her mother said with this hateful stare on her daughter before going back to focusing outside. The red head sitting on the bed let out her tears. The detective really didn't know how to feel. She needed to get those answers though, before it's too late. "I'm sorry about this. I know this must be hard because you just got back from wherever you were and you've been...violated," Sadie stuck up her middle finger in the woman's direction. Winona just went on. "It's tough, I'm sorry... but there are consequences to your actions. You understand that, right?" Sadie nods slowly and reaches up to wipe away her tears.

"But you need to stay strong. Prison is not easy, the women there are awful and will try to tear you down, but you must keep your head up and stay out of trouble." Winona spoke. The teen grabbed a little pad of sticky notes and a pen from beside her before writing a little note for the woman. She tore it off of the pad and thrusts it at her. Winona read it. 'Ur only being nice 2 me so I tell u things' "Well I do need to figure some stuff out so I arrests Finn and Millie and give you some kind of justice, but I'm also telling you this because you're so young and just a kid still and you're going somewhere scary for a very long time."

Sadie shut her eyes as she thought about her life in prison. It would be very awful and she wasn't ready. She had just been let go from that hellish place that Finn dragged her to and now she has to go to another hell hole. Her life is not easy, but it shouldn't be. She's a bully and a rapist. Sadie doesn't deserve this empowering talk from Winona at all, but Winona is just too nice. "Stay strong." The detective finishes. The red head only wanted punishment for Millie and Finn. She wanted them to pay for what they did. She wrote on two notes and gave them to detective Ryder. The first note read 'wen they got rid me, I saw mailbox w address' the second note '628. woods. thts all i know.' Winona nods and bites her lip before thanking the young girl. Sadie stood up and gave Winona a long hug and a mental thank you.

"So we're gonna give him his punishment tonight? Why not now?" Jaeden spoke to his best friend as Finn was standing by the back door, looking out the window at his girlfriend and her little sister splashing around in the lake. They recently have stopped taking Ava to daycare because everyone now knows that Millie is involved with the case and if they kept taking Ava, they would get found. So now she spends her days in the house with her older sister.

Finn shook his. They didn't do anything yesterday besides drive Sadie into town. He wanted to hurt Caleb like he did the others, but he just needed a break to clear his head and think about everything. "Tonight. Mark your calendar. This is gonna be the messiest one yet." The curly haired boy stated. Jaeden chuckles and starts to come close to Finn, staring out of the window with his friend. "And then after the deed is done, you take your bride and her sister in the truck, drive up to Lake Michigan, and the boat is ready for your move to Canada." He pats the boys back. Finn smiles and keeps his eye on Millie as he dreamed of their new life.

It was seven o'clock on the dot and Winona was all dressed up for her date with David. She just wore a long plain floor length dress with her fanciest coat. She didn't like heels so she just wore a pair of men's dress shoes. Luckily the dress was long enough to cover that up. A knock on her apartment door made her nerves spike and she took a deep breath before going to answer. David was there in just a casual button up with some nice white pants and the coat. He smiles once he sees his date all dressed up. She only frowns. "Was I not supposed to be so dressed up? I feel like the dress is too much now." She compares her lovely evening gown to his outfit.

David chuckles and shakes his head. "No you look perfect, like a pageant queen," he assured her before holding out his hand for her. "Shall we?" The man raised an eyebrow. Winona smiles and tries to remain a calm appearance before accepting his hand and stepping out to shut her apartment. "I really wanted to wear one of my usual things like a jacket and a pair of tweed pants, but I figured that you would want me to wear a dress for this kind of thing." She explains as they walk to his car. David scoffed. "I don't care if you wear a trash bag around your waist with a banana peel on your head. You look fantastic in anything and I'm just glad that we're finally reconnecting." She smiles at that.
