Chapter 10 Didnt see that coming

Katie's P.O.V.

When we got home I noticed Jason staying a lot closer to Melany.

I picked up my phone and called him.

"Hello"? he answered.

"Come in here I need you." I said.

I heard the phone call end and him open his bedroom door.

He walked into my room in his pjs. "You can drop the act now." I said. He looked at me kind of confused. "Where is Melany?" I asked. "Shower." He answered.

"You can stop pretending you like Melany now that were home." I said shifting my weight from foot to foot.

He stared at me for a while then says, "I don't know if it's an act any more Katie." I sat on my bed. I was a loss for words. "Okay that's nice." I said. Jason looked around then closed my bedroom door. "Do you think it would be ok of she stayed in my room tonight"? He asked me. "I guess." I replied he smiled and turned out of my room. "well here's my chance to talk to Melany." I told myself. I walked to the bathroom and opened the door. I stepped inside. Melany poked her head out of the shower curtain. "What's wrong babe"? she asked me. I sat on the stool in front of the makeup table. "I have news." I told her. She looked a little worried so I offered a smile. "Well, Jason and I just talked and he admitted to liking you." She stopped and looked at me before a huge smile formed over her face. "Yes"! she exclaimed. "Oh and one thing." I said. "He wants you to sleep in his room tonight." I said before winking and walking out of the bathroom.

I heard Melany go Into Jason's room. The door was shut so I barley opened it. just enough to hear sound through. "So I have been thinking about this for a while now, and I have to ask you something serious." It was Jason's voice then I heard Melany say, "you can ask me anything." There was a shifting sound then I heard, "ok, here it goes, Melany, will you marry me"? I nearly screamed I had to slap my hand over my mouth. Then I heard Melany say, "yes Jason."
