Chapter 28

(Maks pov)
We arrived at the venue and all the boys were in the green room . When the three of us walked in we were greeted by the manager.
"Makenna you can go back to the green room with the boys for now, and you two need to help set up the merch station" he said
"Okay" I said
"Okay dad" Aspen said and Atallia nodded
I reluctantly walked back to the green room. I wasn't really in the mood to see jack, I know we just started dating and I obviously like him I just don't know what to think about the whole situation. I decided to quickly dm Mackenzie.

Me: I'd like to talk to jack about it, but I'd like to see this proof you have, I'm sure you can understand.

I sent the message and continued walking to the green room we still had shot two hours until we were going to perform and the boys had already done a pre show meet and greet. I walked into the green room and all the boys said hi to me. I sat on the couch on the opposite side of the room to them. Jack got up and came over and sat by me.
"Daniel I sent mom that message we talked about earlier but haven't gotten a response" I said hoping that Daniel would be smart enough to get the hint I was talking about Mackenzie
"gotcha let me know what she says" he said
I tried to stay distant from jack, which was very hard to do because he was always trying to put his arm around me or pull me closer to him. I saw my phone light up and saw that it was a direct message from Mackenzie.
"I'm going to use the bathroom" I said getting up as all the boys nodded
When I got into the bathroom I opened up the dm.

Mackenzie: *pictures of conversations* the text messages are myself and him as you can see by the date at the top they're from a month ago and then the second two are from earlier this past week. The direct message is from a couple days ago when he randomly stopped answering me and I was confused you can see the date on that as well.
Me: I'm so sorry about this if I knew I would never have started talking or dating him in the first place no one deserves to feel cheated on. Are you still going to be at all of the shows?
Mackenzie: no actually i sold my tickets, given the circumstances I wasn't really in the mood to see him again. I promise jack is not a bad guy you should try to work things out with him if you can.
Me: thank you again I'm so sorry about all of this.

I am in complete shock. Is jack actually a cheater? Or are all of these fakes? Can someone fake this? Would someone fake this? I need Daniel.
"Hey Daniel can you come here I don't feel so well" I said really hoping he gets the hint on this one
"I can help you baby" I heard jack say
"No jack it's fine she's a nightmare when she's sick I'll go" I heard Daniel say
I then heard a knock on the door followed by an "it's Daniel"
I opened the door for him and pulled him in.
"Hey you're not sick" he said
"Shut up I need to show you this" I said to him
"Hang on" he said and he turned on the sink, I gave him a what are you doing look
"Well if they hear us talking they're going to know you're not actually sick and something's up" he said and I nodded, I pulled out my phone and showed him the dm.
"I'm going to kick his ass that's it" he said angrily opening the door.
"Jack get your ass in here now" Daniel said angrily
"What wrong? Mak are you-" he stopped when he saw me sitting on the ground and noticed Daniel shut the door behind him.
"Explain this now" Daniel said handing jack my phone. Jack read the dms and looked at me.
"Mak look I- "
"Save it. I knew you were a player, I knew you'd hurt me, I was dumb to think you wouldn't, you're 18, I'm 15, you're a cheater jack" I said getting up and waking out of the room.
I don't know where I was going to go I just need to go somewhere that's not with everyone.
