Chapter 22

(Jacks pov)
As we were driving to the venue Mak said she needed to talk to me and I was a little worried not going to lie I mean we literally just told eachother we like eachother and now something could go wrong.  We arrived at the venue for soundcheck. I had to talk to Mak and the boys wanted to go quickly see the fans that were already lined up outside so we told Eben he could set up and check all of his dj equipment so it was ready to go.
"Mak you want to talk now?" I asked her
"Umm yeah I just have to go to the green room and change into the outfit I'm wearing for the show then we can talk" she said and walked to the room
It took her about 10 minutes to change because she already had straightened her hair and did her makeup quickly on the in the hotel before we left.
"Okay so want to tell me about Mackenzie now, or later?" She asked
"Now but how did you hear about her?" I asked
"Never mind that please tell" she said
"Okay so after you had told me you didn't know if you liked me or Zach I was pretty crushed but I told you I'd wait for you, but Mackenzie a girl from around my home town that I've known and been friends with for a while told me she might have feelings for me, so I told her i didn't know how I felt and that I used to like her but things have changed and that maybe there's a possibility I like her. I clearly don't though because I like you an indescribable amount I promise. But anyways she had told me that she bought tickets to a bunch of the shows because she's one of my closest friends from back home so she was planning to come to a bunch anyways. And so she bought limelight for the show in NY and PA and level one for Portland, and Seattle, and the final one in LA." I said
"So basically your best friend turned admirer is going to be seeing you constantly and Will always try to be around you and thinks you might like her, that's great jack, just great" she said sarcastically
"Mak I didn't know she would try to be more than a really close friend and I didn't know that I'd have a person I like a whole lot either" I said  getting anxious about her answer and playing with my hands
"Jack she doesn't change how I feel about you don't worry, I'm confident in my feelings for you and in your feelings for me" she said grabbing my hand to relax me
"I just hope there's no problems when I have to meet her in 3 days" she said smiling sarcastically
"We should probably go out with the other guys to see the fans" I said to her
"No you should go, I have to do my soundcheck and run through" she said nudging me in the direction of the door

(Maks pov )
I was so nervous to go on stage for the first time. Daniel came over to me and tried to calm me down.
"Just like singing back home for Mom and dad"
He said
"Yeah except there's a lot more people here" I said chuckling nervously
"You'll do great you know the song like the back of your hand" he said
I exhaled loudly and nodded to Daniel before I was called to be welcomed on the stage.
"Hey my name is Makenna Seavey and I'm going to be opening the show for you all singing. Me You by Russ" I said stiffly but was immediately relaxed when the crowd started cheering for me.
I took a breathe and began singing and dancing around the stage it was so fun. I can see why Daniel and the boys like this so much.
"THANK YOU GUYS SI MUCH AND NOW LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TOO WHY DONT WE" I said exiting the stage as the crowd cheered
--skip the boys performance--
The boys came off stage and we grouped hugged
"YOU GUYS DID AMAZING" I said to them
"SO DID YOU" Zach said to me
"Guys this is going to be the best experience ever" Jonah said
As he said that it really got me thinking I looked around and realized I have the best friends, I'm going what I love, and I'm traveling the country what could be better.
The crowd that wasn't level 1 or limelight we asked to exit and the boys went back stage to drink water, wipe the sweat from there face, and do stuff like that before going out to hang out with the fans. As I was walking around a bunch of fans said hi to me and asked for pictures they were the sweetest. Aspen, her sister and I hung around until the boys were done with the meet and greet stuff. The boys came back after a while and we got ready to head to the bus and drive over night to the next stop which was D.C.
"Mak, since we have some time before my radio interview and the show tomorrow do you think we could go on a breakfast date?" Jack asked me
"Is it a date this time?" I asked
"Yes it is a date and actual date Makenna Seavey will you go on a date with me" he asked
"I would love to Avery"  I said blushing

Okay so just a warning this chapter and the next one are fillers and will be a little burning because it will be mostly about Mak and Jacks date and stuff so yeah.
